MemberNow for my pup, it took a bit of time transitioning from his old snuggly bed to this elevated one. But as soon as we were settled, he was snoozing happily on it.
For anyone worried about chewability (is that even a word- LOL), this thing has survived my terrier’s teeth so yeah strong votes from me there.
Anyone else has experience with multiple dogs using these beds though? Got another rescue pup coming in next week and was considering getting another Kuranda or should we go for a king-size option instead? Thoughts?

MemberAnd good point about the blanket! Can’t count how many times an old, worn-out throw has come to rescue in our household. We’ve also found that rotating the bed every couple of weeks can help even out any spots that may have gotten a little too “loved”.
Anybody else find their dog likes it more when it’s flipped over? Or is that just my weirdo pooch?

MemberI did face an issue with the zipper breaking within the first six months, but a quick DIY fix and it was good to go again (But yeah, at that price point, you shouldn’t really be dealing with that kinda stuff). Besides that hiccup though, it’s held up pretty well against Max’s antics.
Also, nothing wrong with shopping discount beds either! I once grabbed a bargain bin bed from TJ Maxx and to my surprise it lasted quite a while too! So I guess at the end of the day it really ddepends on your dog, their size, and how they use their bed. Has anyone tried repairing any damages? Interested to hear how that went down…

MemberSo yeah Snoozer might be a bit extravagant for some folks (and dogs), but if you’re after comfort and something long-lasting, this is definitely the way to go.

MemberNow, my point isn’t to nay-say self-warming beds altogether; maybe Lou is just an extra chilly boy. So I’d say if yr doggie loves roasty-toasty warmth, give them a shot.
That said, anyone else with stubbornly cold dogs found something that works better for ’em? Any brands alternatives they keep coming back to? Would appreciate knowing a bit more about your experiences – Lou’s comfort always come first. Don’t we all know what our furry pals mean to us? 😊

MemberThough remember, it’s all about finding the sweet spot for your pooch. If your dog isn’t much of a chewer, maybe a softer plush bed could work better, but for my rascals Kong was the answer. Anyone else here got pups that destroyed bed after bed before switching to Kong?

MemberAnyone here tried other orthopedic brands? Maybe something that comes with bolstered sides? Terry sometimes likes to use ’em as pillows. 😉
