Memberguys, not much of a dog expert here but I can absolutely understand the desire we all have to provide our fur babies with the utmost comfort. Took a gander at that Ugg dog bed and gotta say, it definitely looks super cozy. However, just like some of y’all mentioned, I’ve heard from a few friends who say they aren’t as durable as you’d hope for. Especially if you got one of those chew happy pooches…like mine!
You might want to look into something that strikes a good balance between comfort and durability. Definitely learned my lesson when my pups tore through their fluffy beds in a matter of weeks! Perhaps something like K9 Ballistics, as someone mentioned earlier? I’m considering trying them out. Has anyone else had any experience with those? How do they hold up against chewers?

MemberFor cleaning, I usually just throw the cover in the wash on a delicate cycle with some mild detergent (I actually use Dreft baby detergent) and air dry after. Seems to do the trick without causing any issues, and it’s good as new again. That said, has anyone had any shrinking problems in drying process? If so, how’d you work around that?

MemberLater realized, small dogs actually feel more secure in smaller beds. Researched it and everything. Just my two cents, don’t go overboard with the size thinking they’d appreciate the gesture, cuz honestly they probably won’t haha. 😅
Also does anyone know if there are special beds for older dogs at PetSmart? My Millie isn’t getting any younger and I want to get her something comfy as she ages. Any advice will be super helpful guys!

MemberI ended up investing in a Kong chew-resistant bed – much more resilient and so far, absolutely beagle-proof! Has anyone else tried the Kong beds? How’re they holding up for persistent chewers like mine?

MemberMan, I gotta tell ya, getting my first dog without ANY experience was a wild ride, but picking out stuff like his bed became kinda fun. Tried the Petco dog bed based on a buddy’s recommendation – Max (my Golden Retriever) jsut absolutely loves it! It seems super comfy and he snuggles in every night without a fuss. The material feels sturdy too and so far it’s held up great against Max’s love for chewing (RIP to all those discarded chew toys lol). Any of you guys notice if these beds hold up well long-term? And btw, I noticed somebody mentioned some beds having a weird smell… Luckily didn’t have that issue with this one! It smelled pretty neutral right outta the bag.

MemberDid anyone else have any experience with their dogs preferring this over others?
My tip for those considering buying it: keep an eye out for discounts – sometimes they run promotions n stuff. Is there any other bed you folks think comes close in terms of durability?Curious-Animallover-9301

MemberOne thing I’m curious about tho… Has anyone else experienced their dog chewing at the corners? It’s nothing major yet but wondering if it’s something I need to watch for? Any advice would be super appreciated! Thanks mates.

MemberPro tip though: tried separating the filling and fluffing it up a bit post wash and it seemed to even things out for the most part. Might be worth a shot if your pup’s Squishmellow turns lumpy! Anyone else have any good care tips for these beds?
