MemberI’m a newbie to the whole dog-owning scene but I’ve definitely been doing my homework! I recently set up a Yeti Dog Bed in our kitchen and not only is it adorable, as it blends perfectly with our rustic cabin feel, but also my Charlie (He’s a golden retriever) took to it like fish to water. It’s cushiony and seems super comfy!
Here’s what I did; I made sure to place his food/water bowls near the bed, but not too close. We don’t want any spillage on that plush, right? However, if it does get a spill or two (we all know how messy pups can be), don’t worry! The material of Yeti bed is pretty easy to clean.
The thing is… I noticed Charlie kind of chewing on the corners lately… none of y’all faced this issue, right? How do we train dogs not to eat their beds?
Cheers,

MemberAs for reaching out to Yeti, I’m not sure about a dedicated hotline haha but when Sammy managed to pull at some of the stitching (he’s a bit of a nibbler), their customer service was top-notch. They replaced the cover no questions asked. So they might not have a doggie-bed-hotline per say, but they’re pretty on ball in my experience.
Remember to keep your warranty info safe though guys- that stuff comes in handy big time. Anyone bought one second hand and had issues tho? Should you even buy pet beds second hand? Thoughts?

MemberI would suggest focusing on portion control if you’re worried about overfeeding or “spoiling dinner”. And yeah, totally vouch for the high walls of those ugg beds — great at keeping stray crumbs off your floor.
Anyone else tried serving mealworms in these? Heard they love ’em squirm but unsure how messy it coud get… 🐛🤔

MemberBut if I had to choose between a hungry dog annd a content one lounging on his favorite Yeti, I’ll pick the latter any day of the week. The transformation in him has been heartwarming to witness 🐶 Anyone else got similar experiences with their fur-babies loving the bed so much, they gobble down dinner now just to get playground time on it?
