  • Anyway, totally agree with what K said earlier – if money’s tight, certainly look into cheaper durable alternatives. Anyways, curious if anyone has tips for getting your pooch to use their new bed during meal times? Xavy was initially sceptical (but now he wouldn’t eat anywhere else!)

I mean, last time we got one of those standard canine beds, Besto had it in bits and pieces within a week. 😅 The Costco pick though, has lasted us for over a year now and still going strong. Now, if you ask me if that’s value for money, I’d say heck yeah!

Whatcha guys think? Anyone else had such positive experiences with Costco’s choice or am I just lucky? Do you think there might be a better alternative out there worth investing in? Curious to hear your thoughts!

I can’t speak to the Bully bed though, haven’t tried that one out yet. Does it hold up as well for bigger breeds? Might have to look into it if you all are finding it firmer and better. But overall, from a big dog owner’s perspective, I’d say the Big Barker is pretty worth it!

Oh and as for the Kong chew toys, hah! Indestructible is probably an overstatement—my fur baby has managed to gnaw a few of them into submission..but they do tend to last longer than most! Does anyone here have experience with their other products? Are all Kong stuff similarly built tough like their beds and chew toys? Just wondering if it’s worth exploring more in their range! 🤔🦴🐕‍🦺

Here’s some advice from my side though – make sure ya toss in thier favorite blanket or toy when you introduce them to the bed. Helps them feel right at home from day one. Scruffy took to his new bed like a fish to water once I put his old teddy in there.

By the way, has anyone tried their jumbo size? Wondering if it’s worth for my buddy who’s getting bit chunky (aren’t we all in this pndemic, lol)…

Just wanted to chime in on the Kirkland dog bed discussion. I’ve had one for my Golden Retriever, Ollie, for around 6 months now annd we absolutely love it! Got ours cos he loves sprawling himself out when he sleeps and Kirkland beds are SO roomy. The memory foam is a huge plus — noticed Ollie seems more rested and gets up easier compared to his old bed. Totally agree with folks saying it helps with joint issues.

Be sure though to get the right size for your pooch; ours took a litlte while for Ollie to break in because it was slightly bigger than him. But once it had his “groove,” he loves it more than our couch now.

Did anyone buy any accessories or add-ons? Wondering if they’re worth getting…

Had anybody thought about doggie sleeping bags? They’re much cheaper and great for outdoor types. My sister uses one for her terrier when they take their camping trips together. Could be ood alternative depending on your pup’s preference!

But if your doggy gets hot a lot, have you thought about getting an elevated bed instead? It’s been a game changer for us during summer months! They allow for air circulation underneath and keep your furry buddy cool – my terrier loves her’s! Just another idea to chew on. 😉 Anyone else tried the elevated beds too?

fellow dog owners! Totally get the struggle with picky eaters, I mean my pooch will straight up turn his nose up at everything… But wait till he cozies up in the ugg bed, it’s like he can’t resist it. Seems like it’s not just comfy to sleep on, my lil’ furball loves having meal times on it as well, something about feeling secure maybe? Now it’s less of trying to coax him to eat. Might work for your tribunal little pupsters too, who knows?

@GoldenRottieMomma I wasn’t too keen initially either – a bed that costs more than some of my kitchen appliances – crazy right?! But as per your advice gave this one a whirl and yep, now we’re converted! Cheers for pointing that out.

What kind of food are you all using though? Sometimes I wonder if it’s down to what we’re serving that makes munching hour such a hit n’ miss affair!

Btw any other products from UGG that are worth a shot? Nudging towards spoiling my boy a bit more.😁
