MemberI totally get your point about the Yeti Dog Bed’s high price tag, but I’m with you – it’s been totally worth it for our pup. Adopted a hefty golden retriever about a year back and we’ve been through an embarrassing number of beds that he’s torn apart in days. But this Yeti bed? Different story entirely!
Got hands on the Yeti 4 months ago and it’s still standing without a single rip or tear – mission impossible achieved! It’s super durable and comfy (our golden seems to love it). Yes, my pocket felt pretty light after the investment, but looking at how many beds we’ve saved from ending in shreds, kinda makes me feel like I’m ahead haha.
Only woe is that our golden now doesn’t wanna get off his royal throne even for food…can’t say i blam him though xD. Anyone else’s fur baby turned bed-lover after bringing the Yeti home?

MemberOh man, I totally hear you about the Kuranda dog bed being a game changer. The raised design was a eal lifesaver for our old girl, Lucy. She has arthritis and we could tell right off the bat how much comfier she was on it than the low-to-the-ground one we had before. Plus, that easy clean up feature? Totally agree with you there! No more awkwardly shaking out dog beds outside and having fur ackwards float back into my face – been there done that! LOL! And yeah, adding in her old blanket did make a huge difference. She took to it almost immediatly and now won’t sleep anywhere else! Love this bed so far!

Memberguys, had to chime in on this one. I gotta whole-heartedly agree about the aluminium Kuranda beds – my husky who’s got a chewing habit that would put beavers to shame, hasn’t managed a single dent. At first, he’d give those side rails some test gnaws but he gave up real fast (much faster than he did wit hmy shoes, I tell ya). It’s also super easy to clean which is a major plus for me with my slobbery buddy. Anyone else found it helps with any funky smells too or jsut me? Anyway, if anyone’s on the fence about these beds – jump right over. Your chewy pals (annd your furniture) will thank you!

MemberThough, I have noticed a slight issue with the firmness of the bed over time — just something to take into account for those with heavier pups. Anyone else faced this?
As an alternative, I’d also suggest having a look at PupRug Faux Fur Orthopedic Dog Bed. It offers great joint support and Daisy seems to enjoy her naps on it just as much! 🙂

MemberBut isn’t there a risk of getting the bed dirty? That’d certainly be a downside for me, because Rex can be quite the messy eater. Has anyone figured out any hacks to keep it clean?
Also, for those worried about cleanliness, I’ve had great luck with one of those plastic placemats stuck under the food and water bowls, stops most of the spillage from spreading around – just another idea to consider!

MemberThat said, I’ve found some great discount dog beds that are also pretty decent – ever checked out something like Kirkland’s Signature Pet Beds? They’re not as flashy but still comfy and easy on the wallet. Anybody else tried one of them? How did your pooch take to it?

MemberHe loves the comfy feel and it sure beats binge-eating off of the floor. We also found that by putting his food near his snug bed, he felt more secure and ate slower — useful if ya have a rapid eater like mine.
Has anyone else tried this combo? Any tips for making the feeding area even better? I’m all ears…or eyes actually, since I’m reading!
Keep those tails wagging guys 🐶

MemberHad a bit of a hard time figuring out what size to get initially (Lexi is kinda on the cusp between small and medium), but took measurements as suggested here and voila! The sizing guide was right on the money. Anyone else who’s kinda in the same boat? Did you opt for the bigger or smaller size?
Bottom line, Orvis beds are worth every penny – a little pricey maybe but hey, nothing but the best for our fur babies, right?

MemberDid any of your dogs have a period of adjustment to their Yetis? Jax took to his immediately which kinda surprised me. Also, anyone clean theirs yet? Haven’t found any explicit cleaning instructions on the tag, although Sammy’s owner said reaching out to Yeti helped. Maybe we should start a Yeti hotline for all our queries haha! Anyway, any tips would be great, especially on the cleaning front!
