MemberSo we tried something else; we swapped it out for a Snoozer Cozy Cave Bed which was love at first sight for Daisy. She actually crawls into the ‘cave’ part and falls asleep within minutes. It’s quite cute watching her snuggle inside so happily. Might be an alternative worth checking out for those who didn’t have luck with My Pillow bed?
Curious though– has anyone else here had a similar sort of swap success story? Coz changing the bed seemed like a eureka moment for us!

MemberAnd haha, totally get you on the fur thing – we ended up choosing s chocolate brown that pretty much camouflages his shedding fur. It’s a lifesaver if you’re not keen on daily cover cleanup.
Anyone else find the memory foam holds up really well over time? Ours is still going strong without any sign of sag or tear. Great quality stuff here, guys!

Memberannd yes! We do handwash it – she can be quite fussy with smells and gentle soap and warm water work miracles in keeping the bed fresh without any harsh chemicals – a tip we learned the hard way (and led us to Lands’ End after cheaper beds fell apart in the washing machine lol).
Oh, and about Orvis dog beds, haven’t tried ’em yet but sounds worth it if they’re akin to Land’s End quality. Anyone got a specific design or model they’d recommend?

MemberBut honestly, despite hair battles, that squishy orthopedic foam is a total game-changer for my old Golden – she’s been catching zzz’s like a puppy again ever since we made the switch. Anyone else notice their pup sleeping better on these beds? And hey, has anyone tried putting a cover or sheet over the bed to help manage the fur situation?

MemberBut here’s the rub – I’ve noticed the removable cover isn’t as easy peasy to wash as some other brands’ covers out there. It ends up clumping after a few washes and loses some of its softness.
So if you’re someone who prefers to clean regularly like me (Being a clean freak with a mucky pup, oh the irony! 😅), then I’d recommend checking out the Big Barker line – those bed covers are real champs when it comes to withstanding machine washes and maintaining their plush feel. Happy comfort hunting for your furry friends! 🐾

MemberI thought she’d be a medium since she’s not particularly large, but it turns out that between all her sprawling and stretching when she sleeps, we went for a large instead. Best decision ever! She loves it and I’ve never seen her so comfortable! So bear that in mind folks – when in doubt, size up! Anyone else had to do the same? Leave no room for your pet to hang off the edge. Comfort first is my motto.

MemberTo deter him from chewing, I’ve smeared some bitter apple spray on the corners annd initially, he didn’t like the taste of it. Now, I just use it occasionally as a reminder and so far it’s worked well for us. But does anyone else have any good suggestions? There’s always room for more tips when trying to outsmart a sneaky lab! Haha.

MemberOne tip I could share though is check your pup’s size before buying. I initially went for a small size thinking it would suffice but had to return it cause my girl likes her space when lounging or sleeping. And there might have been some squabbles between her and our resident cat over that cozy corner!
On another note, did anyone try the heated version yet? Any opinion on whether it’s worth getting or not as colder months approach?
