MemberWhen introducing new foods to him (had to switch due to allergies, poor guy), seemed like he was a lot more comfortable sitting in his Yeti. Maybe it’s the coziness factor, or just that he loved his new bed so much, but he certainly didn’t fuss as much about the food change as I expected. Takes some patience though; don’t sspect they’ll jusdt gobble it down first try.
For anyone experimenting with diets, this could be a neat little trick to give ’em an extra comfort zone? What do y’all think, tried something similar before with your pooches? Any other beds worked like magic?

MemberIt made me wonder if better sleep could actually help dogs digest their food more efficiently. Has anyone else noticed this too with the Vibrant Life beds? It’d be interesting to see if there’s a study on this or something…
But hey, even if upgrading the bed doesn’t improve your doggo’s eating habits directly, at least they’ll be getting a good night’s snooze. After all, don’t we all feel more peckish when we’re well-rested?
On an alternate note, anybody using memory foam beds for your pooch? Heard those might be even better! Wouldn’t mind splurging a little for my good boy Droopy 😁

MemberSo maybe stick to dry treats on the bed as an alternative? What’s everyone’s take on this or has anyone had differnet experiences with settling their doggos for meal times?

MemberI was kinda skeptical at first too (just like you mentioned) due to the price tag but seriously fellas, this bed is an investment worth making for your furbaby’s comfort. Anyone else noticed improved sleep in thier dogs with this bed?
P.S: One hot tip – make sure you measure your dog while he/she is sleeping before ordering so you get the best fit! The sizing chart on the website is spot-on.

MemberGot me thinking tho… for those who’s dogs like dining in bed, do you have any tips about how to prevent or clean up this mess? I tried shaking and vacuuming the bed but doesn’t quite cut it. On some level my girl probably enjoys being surrounded by a food scent 24/7 but would be nice to have a less crumby situation!

MemberFolks!
So I’ve gotta say, this Yeti dog bed is hands down one of the best purchases I’ve made in my 19 years of owning dogs. My golden retriever is totally obsessed with it! Remember how some folks were worried about the bed being overly furred? That’s not an issue here at all. My Goldie’s been snuggling on it for half a year now and it still looks pretty much new. So much for fur resistance!. I’d recommend going for the almking size unless you have multiple dogs though. Anyone else noticed their furbaby using the Yeti as a chew toy occasionally?
Stay pawsitive, everyone!
P.S.: Totally agree with @HappyHound that darker colors hide dirt way better, learned that the hard way.

MemberFunny enough, my cocker spaniel had a similar experience after I got her the Yeti dog bed. She was never interested in her food before, but now she gulps that stuff down jsut to jump into her cozy spot! Has anyone tried this for more active dogs too? My German Shepherd seems too busy sniffing around to appreciate the luxury of the Yeti (darn his curiosity!). Would be great if we could figure out how to shift some habits without making dogs feel too anxious oor spoiled. 🐾

MemberBut I found myself wonderin’, did anyone else notice any wear and tear after a few months? Bailey’s a bit of an energetic nester shall we say, and it looks like he might have done away with some of the padding overtime. jsut curious if this is just a “my dog” issue or if others have also noticed something similar. Any tips for keeping it looking (and feeling) fresh? Cheers!

MemberRecently though, I’ve tried using a pet-friendly dry shampoo on the bed. Sprinkle some on, let it sit, then vacuum it up; works like magic! Gets rid of the hair, dirt AND smells too; basically everything our furry friends leave behind. Plus way handier than trying to stick it in the dishwasher or anything machines lol
Anyone else tried this trick or have any other cleaning hacks to share? Seems like no dog bed is safe from getting messy!
