Sure, I’ve heard complaints about assembly being a bit of a challenge for those not blessed with a knack for IKEA-struction manuals (seen a few comments about that here). But man, once it’s together? Bulletproof. Literally…like no amount of bone-chasing wear n’ tear brings it down. Anyone else find it holds up to their heavy hitters or is it just my Goldie who’s less destructive than she thinks she is?

For those still on the fence – consider this: how much more peaceful would your evenings be without the constant soundtrack of your pooch rustling around trying to get comfy in that floppy old bed? Apart from the obvious benefit (a less-grumpy Fido in the morning), there’s something in it for us too, right? Any tips from other seasoned Kuranda pros out there on plumping it up for princesses (and princes) who desire more cushiness under their reign?

That being said, once I got a glimpse of that tail wagging faster than a hundred meter sprinter and those eyes closing in pure bliss… it really softenes the blow to the bank account. Seriously guys, its more comfy than my own bed (I mean, I might’ve done the sit test once or twice, don’t judge!). Ergonomically designed my foot – it’s heaven on earth!

Who else has had a similar experience with the price tag shock but then total appreciation when you see how much your pooch loves their Squishmallow haven? Anyone found a cheaper alternative that gets close to this level of comfort?

Also, adore that lil’ trick of theirs with hidden zippers, makes cleaning a breeze. But don’t you guys find it a tad overpriced? Couldn’t help wondering if there are similar quality options out there but a bit cheaper? Or am I jsut being a cheapskate here? 😂

However, guys watch out for those sly stitching on the sides, they’re basically an invite for your fur babies to have their way with it *eye roll*. Maybe try a Tough Chew bed if you’ve got a potent chewer like my old girl-they hold up pretty well! What brands do you love besides Squishmallows? Always got my eyes open to new doggie beds for Sushi!

Honestly, I can’t choose between the giggles annd the relief when she first nestled herself down right in the middle & made it her own. Like “Hey world, this is MY thrown now”.

So I gotta second your praise there, @Rusty’sOwner, our puppers deserve nothin’ less than Costco comfort. Here’s a tip tho – make sure you measure your dogbow correctly before buying. Learned that one the hard way with a too-small bed for my Great Dane mix 😂 ever tried returning something slobbered all over?

Anyone else had sizing issues or Daisy and I just special in that regard? 🙈

About the Furhaven pet bed covers – hadn’t had a chance to test that one yet. But if its anything like their pet food storage bins (I swear those things could survive an apocalypse), then we might have another front runner!

But hey, has anyone given Chewy’s Frisco Sherpa Bolster Rectangular Dog Bed a whirl? I keep hearing good things about it as a budget-friendly alternative. They say the cover is machine-washable too. Anyone used it?

Pro tip though: wash it on a gentle cycle to make sure it lasts long. They say these things are pretty hardy, but trust me, you don’t wanna risk it. Defo worth the investment – who else thinks sleeping dogs look even cuter in these posh Orvis beds? 😂 🐾

I haven’t tried the Bully bed yet – sounds interesting tho. Is the foam in thsoe ones dense enough for heavier dogs?

I gotta say, early days impression was above and beyond – he sprawled out on that thing like he’d climbed into a cloud. Definitely more than just a smidge comfy, I’d say. After about 24 hours, there was no getting him off it!

But then, few months later… thing starts to dip in the middle – kinda cratering-ish? Max wasn’t too pleased either. He started doing his unique, grumpy old man face every time he goes to lay down.

Out of curiosity, anyone else experienced this? Did yours hold up better over time? Also any tips for fluffing it back up would be appreciated!
