MemberPost: Couldn’t agree more with you guys – our golden retriever, Charlie, absolutely loves his PetFusion Ultimate bed. We’ve had ours for just over a year now annd it is holding up really well, even with Charlie’s daily ‘bed fluffing’ routine.
The memory foam seems to be pretty high quality – it hasn’t gotten all lumpy lyk some of the other beds we’ve bought in the past. And the cover? Eaiser to clean than I expected! Any other pet owners out there use a heated blanket with this bed on chillier nights? Just wondering if that might be too much with the memory foam? Thanks folks!

MemberAnyway, has anyone tried the jumbo size for larger breeds? She seems alright on the large, but I’m considering going up a notch if it could be even comfier for her! 👀🐾

MemberP.S.: The memory foam seems pretty high quality too. Benny had an old hip injury that bothered him quite a bit, but since we got this bed, he’s showing significant improvement. Just goes to show you how much of a difference a good dog bed can make!

MemberTo answer your question about the size, yep, the jumbo is absolutely worth it for larger breeds or if your fur baby likes extra space—it’s pretty roomy! Also, just a quick tip: watch out for holiday sales; scored ours during Black Friday with a nice discount.
By the way, anyone tried their new orthopedic bed yet? I’m curious how it compares to this one.

Membergang, long-time doggie dad here with about evenly mixed experiences. Our corgi mix, Rusty is all over that memory foam in the PetFusion Ultimate Dog Bed. Seriously, he don’t just sleep on it, rather he’s been caught napping, lounging and just generally being lazy on it. In terms of size, we went for large – nothing too gigantic but more than enough real estate for Rustles.
Onto the memory foam – yes! Complete agreeance here especially if your canine companion has hip or joint issues. Been there dealt with that – when our previous collie had an old knee injury flare up again. Having a supportivr bed made a world of difference. Just make sure you size correctly. I’m curious – how’ve others found durability with this thing? We’ve had ours only 6 months and so far so great (apart from some slobber… cue eye-roll).
As one alternative, we also tried the Big Barker Orthopedic bed before but surprisingly Rusty preferred this one. And hey, saves me those extra bucks I can now spend on his favorite chewies instead! Thumbs (and tail) up from us.

Memberall, first-time poster but long-standing lurker here. I gotta say, we have a totally different experience with the PetFusion bed. Got one for our boxer, Daisy about 6 months ago and she loves it to bits! Quite literally…hehe.
The thick memory foam base really seems to be great on her old joints. The bolsters were loved too, perfect for chin rests during daytime dozes. However, it quickly became a chew toy so now its more of a flat fluff rectangle. :’D
But despite that, it was far easier to clean than previous beds we’ve tried – washable cover is such life-saver! Somehow Daisy’s mess doesn’t stick around like it used to on other fabric.
Personally I’m eyeing off some durable beds with more chew-resistant features next though – any recommendations? Ringo-2811, you said before this bed seemed tough enough for your lab mix even after 2 years? What’s your secret!? Maybe Daisy is indeed just a tough chewer. 🤔
Regardless, dosen’t take away from the fact that the sleep quality for Daisy definitely improved with PetFusion bed when compared to regular ones from pet stores. If you have an easy-going pupper who isn’t heavy on chewing, this could be perfect!

MemberGotta say though, durability’s been top notch in our house, which is a big plus considering my goofball’s obsession with her chew toys. Those anti-tear qualities they advertise ain’t no joke! And hey corgi dad, have you tried using a specialized pet hair vacuum for Rusty’s problem? Works wonders for us!
On another note first-time poster, maybe check if your dog isn’t reacting to the memory foam? Our friend switched to a Cooling Gel Memory Foam bed from Furhaven and said it made a difference. Still love our PetFusion though, no way around it.

MemberAnd oh yeah, spot on about that durability comment—not even a single tear yet, despite my dog’s love for digging into it like theres no tomorrow. Anybody else find it surprisingly easy to clean? Could be absolute lifesaver tip there for newbies!

MemberHas anyone else found a similar improvement in their dog’s comfort? Or any tips for keeping it fresh-smelling between washes?

MemberAs for keeping it fresh, I usually just vacuum it every couple of days and remove the cover for washing every fortnight or so. Here’s a tip: use a pet-friendly fabric freshener in between washes – helps a lot to eliminate that doggy odor!
Speaking of alternatives though, has anyone tried out the Friends Forever Orthopedic Dog Bed? Heard it’s great too but would love to hear some personal experiences. Any thoughts?
