Absolutely agree with you guys on the exceptional quality of these beds. My Lab, Charlie, adores his. One thing I really appreciate is the washable cover cause let’s be real, dogs can get messy annd it’s been a life saver. And don’t even get me started on how durable they are! Charlie is a chewer of epic proportions and this is the first bed we’ve had hat has stood up to his teeth.

Still going strong one year down the line. Worth every penny for us 🙂

Anyone else noticed these beds sell out quickly? I had to check back a couple of times before I caught one in stock. All for good reason though, top notch product IMO!

I guess my advice to anybody on the fence about it is to take the plunge. The price may be higher than you’re used to paying for a dog bed but when you consider how much longer this one last – definitely worth every penny.

How are you guys cleaning yours though? I’m doing a gentle cycle wash and air dry but wondering if there’s aby better ways…

Well, I’ve had a different experience from many of you guys. Been a dog owner for almost 2 decades now (how time flies!) and my dogs have always found the Petco beds pretty comfy. They particularly love that thick foam padding – it seems great for their joints. And while the price tag is definately on the hefty side, I gotta say that I’ve found these beds last way longer than some of the cheaper alternatives I tried. Can’t tell ya how much money I’ve ended wasting on shoddy beds that fell apart within months.

Still, as with anything else dog-related, it all comes down to your pooch’s preferences. Some dogs might not be into the Petco bed’s material – one friend’s Frenchie apparently hated it. But for me and my furry pals? Petco’s been a winner so far.

Only real quibble I got (and here’s where I agree with some previous posts) – is takes ages to get it properly clean when accidents happen. So yeah, maybe keep those puppy training pads handy till you’re sure they’re potty trained. 😉

Anyone else noticed how some dogs seem to dig this bed more than others? Or maybe it’s just my Daisy being picky. Anyone got any tips for making the transiton smoother if your fur-baby isn’t a fan straight off the bat? 🐶🤔

Deffo get why lots of you rave about the Petco bed, specially if your pooches are loving it. I picked up one for Benny, my Golden Retriever a while back, but he just didn’t seem to take to it much. Benny’s more of a Snoozer Cozy Cave dog bed kinda guy – can’t resist crawling inside that snuggly pocket! Guess each woofer has their own bed preferences eh? Any of you had similar experiences?

A big part of why I think some dogs might dig this bed more than others could be down to the stuffing – it’s memory foam and some breeds just adore that extra bit of support for their joints.

As for choosing the right one, it really depends on your dog’s preferences. Some love the cuddler style while others prefer pillow-style dog beds. If you’re planning to get one, probably look at what kind of spaces your pooch usually chooses to rest or sleep – does he/she like snuggling into small areas or sprawling out on open spaces?

And btw, do keep an eye on sales, because with Petco beds being pricy, you can save some serious $$$ if you catch a deal! 😉

Anyone else had experiences with other dog bed brands? I’d like to compare some alternatives too.

Just a quick tip though – if your dog’s anything like mine and likes to gnaw at things, spray a bit of bitter apple spray on it. It’ll keep ’em from turning their new favorite bed into their new favorite chew toy!

Speaking of which, anyone else have tricks for keeping their dogs away from destroying their beds? Or is it just mine with that bad chewing habit?! 🤔

Just my two cents here – Dogs like Max might do better with something like the Kong Chew Resistant Dog Bed. It’s way more durable and stands up to even the most enthusiastic gnawers. Anyone else had this experience?

For folks with chewers like Max, a great trick we used was mixing a little bit of her kibble in with a Kong toy – keeps Ginger occupied so she isn’t tempted by the bed. Just gotta be prepared for a bit of a mess, haha. 🐾🤞🏼

BUT – a word of caution here. For those with shedders? You’re gonna have your work cut out, trust me! In my case, the clean-up became quite the ordeal. Even with regular vacuuming, some weeks it’d like a fur storm hit our living room!

I see some of you recommending Kong Chew Resistant for heavy chewers annd I wholeheartedly second that. Maybe we got the odd one out, but ours has lasted about a year now with barely any damage! Seems more durable too – might be worth considering as an alternative if your furbaby’s also part piranha.

Any tips on handling the fur situation though?
