Oh I totally get you, my pup can’t get enoguh of his Brindle bed. We’ve had it for almost 3 years now annd it’s super easy to clean and hasn’t lost its firmness one bit! Not even after that time he decided to drag it through the mud… anyone else’s pooch taken their Brindle on an adventure? lol! Needlesss to say, this bed is worth every penny in my book!

But gotta admit though, ever thought about trying out the Big Barker bed? Read some reviews that its orthopedic support can do wonders for hefty dogs or those with joint issues. What ya peeps think about it?

The Big Barker bed tho? Nahhhh, haven’t tried. Heard about it too, but again, you have seen a dog that doesn’t wanna give up his favorite spot?! What are the specific features of the Big Barker that you guys like anyways?

Anyways, maybe give the Brindle another shot before you switch? Sometimes it’s about declaring it “their spot”, try adding a piece of your clothing or their fav blankie on there. Good luck!

Also @dogmomma16, totally get your point about declaring it “their spot” – Took my Milo a good week before he stopped trying to climb on the couch 🙄 Speaking of which, any tips on how to make the transitioning smoother?

And lastly…ever tried flipping the Brindle bed over? Seems silly but Milo seems to enjoy both sides 🤷‍♂️ Just a thought. Anyways…happy tails and sweet dreams to all the pups out there!

Are all Brindles this durable or did Chewie and I hit the bed lottery? They ain’t exactly cheap but so far, no regrets. My advice to doubters: give it some time. It may feel like an eternity when you excitedly present your fur baby thier new throne only to have them ignore it at first – but patience is a virtue here. Sure your pup know its their turf and they’ll thank ya eventually!

As @dogmomma16 said… maybe give your fur baby a little more time with the Brindle before you call in the big guns… who knows, one day you might find them ready to hit snooze even before you pick up that night-time storybook 😉 Anyone else got good (or bad) experiences with these beds? Any tips for fur babies who are especially resistant toward new beds?

P.S. – Can we jsut take a minute to appreciate how easy they are to clean? Totally lifesavers those removable covers, especially with mucky pups!

Couldn’t hold myself back from jumping int o this discussion lol. We gave our Boxer, Buster, a Brindle bed two years ago and it’s still holding up strong – and trust me, this guy can demolish a chew toy in minutes flat. As for cleaning, I concur wholeheartedly! Those removable covers are a godsend, especially after Buster has had his muddy ‘adventures’ outside. Did we both get lucky with the durability? Mabye, but considering the quality I’m inclined to think that it’s more than jsut luck. For all those who are mad about the price … well, you defintiely get what you pay for with Brindle beds.

Anyone else here tried thier orthopedic beds yet? Buster’s getting on in year s and we’re thinking of upgrading to give his joint some extra cushioning… Would love any feedback or experiences you can share!

In terms of alternatives, did anyone try out the “PetFusion Ultimate Dog Bed”? I heard it’s memory foam is even more comfy than the Brindle, annd it still has those easy-clean features too. Anyone got any deets on that? 🤔

    #4345

P.S: Haven’t tried PetFusion yet, but heard good stuff about it too. Worth a try mabye for a bedroom setup?

    #4349

I also toyed around with the idea of getting a PetFusion bed, heard they’re quite good too. But then figured since the Brindle was cheaper and people seemed happy with it, why not givet it a shot first? Glad I did because this one works just fine for us!

Have anyone tried washing the brindle’s bed cover in the washer? wondering if it’ll hold up. Cheers!

Speaking of PetFusion, I decided to give it a shot after the Brindle and… drumroll please… we love it! Honestly didn’t think anything could match up to our old Brindle, but the egg-crate memory foam base on this one is a dream (or so my pup tells me haha). Since my Terrier has minor joint issues, the additional support makes an apparent difference.

So go ahead and give PetFusion a whirl if you’re thinking of mixing it up a bit. Or stick with the old reliable Brindle if you’ve already found your match. Either way, rest assured your pooch is getting top-tier snooze time!

By the way- anyone tried both brands on bigger breeds? Curious how they hold up under more weight.

For those deciding between the two brands, maybe consider what your dog’s needs and behavior tendencies are first. Either way, a comfy bed is always appreciated by our four-legged pals 😄

Now I’ve tried various brands over the years but recently switched to a Brindle Dog Bed and folks… it’s been a game changer. This bed has withstood all her nighttime activities without compromising on comfort one bit. Nyla seems more relaxed now; maybe it’s because of the orthopedic memory foam filling doing wonders for her joints.

As for those stuck between two brands, I’d say consider your dog’s quirks and needs first — if they’re anything like my Nyla, you might want to give Brindle a try. It may not be the cheapest option out there but hey, can’t put a price on our fur babies’ good sleep and happiness, right? Anyway, that’s just been my experfience… anyone else found it stood up well (or not) under heavy use?
