MemberI just bought the Yeti dog bed about 3 months ago for my Rottweiler, who’s a notorious bed chewer. True that it held up well compared to other beds but not sure if it’s worth the hefty price tag. Anyone else feel the same? Or maybe I’m missing somethng about thsi bed??? (’cause my pooch certainly doesn’t seem any comfier!).
Any observations would help! Oh, and also, are there any chew-proof alternatives that won’t burn a hole in my wallet?

MemberBut yeah, it does come with a hefty price tag. I feel like it’s worth it because of how much i’ve saved on bed replacements so far. Has anyone else found that the cost has balanced out over time?

MemberI totally get your point about the Yeti Dog Bed’s high price tag, but I’m with you – it’s been totally worth it for our pup. Adopted a hefty golden retriever about a year back and we’ve been through an embarrassing number of beds that he’s torn apart in days. But this Yeti bed? Different story entirely!
Got hands on the Yeti 4 months ago and it’s still standing without a single rip or tear – mission impossible achieved! It’s super durable and comfy (our golden seems to love it). Yes, my pocket felt pretty light after the investment, but looking at how many beds we’ve saved from ending in shreds, kinda makes me feel like I’m ahead haha.
Only woe is that our golden now doesn’t wanna get off his royal throne even for food…can’t say i blam him though xD. Anyone else’s fur baby turned bed-lover after bringing the Yeti home?

MemberBut, just outta curiosity… anyone else notice the bed takes a while to dry after washing? Our’s seems to hang onto water a bit longer than our old beds. Maybe it’s just me or does it happen with you guys as well? On a side nite, make sure you got space in your machine before tossing this beast in there. It ain’t a small task.

MemberMajor agree on the price tag – did hurt my wallet a bit when I first got it. But seeing how comfy ol’ Rufus has been snoozing away on his Yeti has made me believe that it was totally worth all those bucks. Plus, the cover color options are legit, aren’t they?! Totally vibes with our living room aesthetics!

MemberI’ve noticed some of you mentioning about it taking ages to dry after washing… and yep! Experienced that firsthand. A bit annoying but I’ve found popping it in the dryer for just a few minutes (not too hot though) helped speed things up considerably. Just be mindful not to overdo it – wouldn’t want any shrinkage or damage.
On the topic of alternatives… anyone had luck finding something comparable at a lower price point? I’m all ears if you’ve got suggestions! 🐾

MemberDoes anyone else have the same lenghty drying experience or am I doing something wrong? annd if so, got any lifehacks on speeding up the process? Cheers!

MemberDefinitely agree on the price of the Yeti bed, it’s steep but oh man, my Border Collie absolutely adores his own personal cloud. I did feel the pinch when I bought it, but considering how much he loves it, totally worth it!
I’ve also ran into the drying problem after washing it. Feels like it takes furever (pun intended)! I tried blow drying bits of it which seemed to help some, but overall still a lengthy process. Maybe it’s the trade-off for that plushness?
One thing for sure is that pesky fur doesn’t stick to this bed as much as it did with other cheaper variants. Anybody else noticed this too? Might be just me… 🤔
So I’d say if you can afford the Yeti and don’t mind the drying time, go for it! Your pupper will thank you!

MemberGot me curious though, anyone else noticed any changes after they used fabric drying sprays or something like that? WOuld love to know if that could work as a quick solution, haha!

MemberI know its high price can feel like your wallet’s got a hole in it, but if you consider how many cheaper beds Marley chewed through, Yeti feels almost money-saving. However, some peeps don’t dig the look of it much… any thoughts?
