MemberOn the flipside tho guys, have any of you tried out the Sherpa Original Deluxe pet bed? From what I’ve heard, it’s also a great option for our furry pals especially if they get easily anxious or prefer cuddling into something extra soft.
Can anyone share their experiences with it? Would really appreciate some feedback before possibly giving it a go. Cheers!

MemberHas anyone here had any experience with the bed getting chewed up? My Copper, an enthusiastic Golden Retriever, has been known to mistake his bed for a giant chew toy on occasion…oopsie! Does the Pelsbarn hold up to the occasional gnawing, especially from bigger breeds? Also curious about how easy it is to clean, ’cause let me tell ya, Copper sometimes gets pretty muddy in our afternoon playtime seshs.
Be keen to hear your thoughts and advice on this one. Cheers!

MemberNow don’t get me wrong, he has certainly tried, but the material seems pretty resistant to those sharp canines. Plus, he finds it super comfy annd routinely chooses the Pelsbarn over our couch (which he previously took over – much to my qife’s dismay).
So yeah, if you’re worried about your pup chewing through it, I’d say give it a shot. It might just surprise you! Anybody else here with similar experience or is it just my Floof who is outsmarted by this bed?

MemberShe’s been trying to do her usual destruction for months now, but this bed? Not even a scratch! The material is super durable yet comfy. One tip if your pup loves digging – try placing a blanket over it, works wonders for us!
Anyone else got hacks for prolonging bed’s lifespan?

MemberHere’s my query though – any of you folks noticed your dogs heating up a bit on this bed? Don’t get me wrong, I know Jack’s got energy to burn, but he seems a tad warmer after his snoozes. Could be just his age, but thought I’d see if anyone else had sailed that boat?

MemberAs an alternative though, have any of you tried out the Coolaroo Elevated Pet Bed? It keeps my fur-babies cool even on the hottest days and’s extremely durable too – no bite marks yet! Worth giving a shot if heating’s a concern. Would love to hear your thoughts on this one.

MemberHaven’t tried out the Coolaroo Elevated Pet Bed tho. Sounds like somethign to consider to avoid the heating issue. How’s that been workin’ out for the fur babies? Are they adaptin’ okay to the elevation?

MemberResponding to the talk about Coolaroo Elevated Pet Bed, it does sound beneficial because of its cooling effect but would it be cosy enough during winter? I’m always paranoid of my boy getting chilly at nights. Also, how’s the durability compared to Pelsbarn? My pup is no Godzilla but he does get into his silly destructive mode occasionally 😄. Any long-term users who can shed some light?
