MemberOn the plus side, Max seems to really dig the taste annd it doesn’t upset his stomach like some other brands have in the past. The ingredients list is also pretty straightforward – lots of natural stuff and no unreadable chemicals that make you scratch your head.
That said, it is on the pricier side and might not fit into everyone’s budget. It’s also not that easy to find in stores around me (I have to order mine online), but of course that will vary depending on where you live.
Another thing to consider is that while it’s good for dogs without dietary restrictions, if your pet needs specific nutrients or has certain allergies, you might want to read those nutrition panels carefully or consult with your vet before making the switch.
Hope this helps! Each dog is different after all so what works well for mine might not be the best choice for yours. Keep us updated on what you decide to do!

MemberSo, I’ve been feeding my lab mix, Daisy, the Badlands Ranch dog food for a few months now and things have been pretty solid overall.
When she first swapped over from her old brand, she was sniffing around her bowl like it was Christmas morning! Now don’t get me wrong, Daisy has never been one to turn down a meal, but I swear there were heart-eyes popping out at meal time. 😂
The nutritional content seems to be on point too. Her energy levels are great, coat’s shiny as ever and no upset tummy issues — which was a problem with some other brands in the past.
Also loved that they have grain-free options, since our vet suggested we try going grain-less due to some minor allergy issues.
On the downside, the price tag might sting just a little bit more than your run-of-the-mill kibble. But hey, quality stuff usually ain’t cheap. Just make sure it fits your budget before you get your pup’s hopes up!
Overall though? I give Badlands Ranch two paws up! 🐾
Hope that helps anyone considering a switch. Cheers!

MemberRemember it’s always worth keeping an eye on your doggy’s reaction when switching foods though – each pup is different after all. Also, some people might be put off by the price point but honestly? You get what you pay for.
Let just say Luna’s tail wags have been stronger than ever and her coat looks fantastic. Go for it if you are considering BDR food; your four-legged family member might just thank you for it! See ya!
