One thing I’d point out though – you don’t need to worry too much about their chart for weight and size correlation. Buddy weights nearly 80 pounds, I got him the large anyway and he fits jsut fine with room to stretch out.
Does anyone else have some long-term testimony on these? Like how well do they hold up after a couple of years and washes?

A note to pick up on your sizing point, don’t get too caught up in the weight chart. My lab’s a big boy but we actually ended up getting a medium instead of the large – fits him perfectly.

But hey, if that type of bed isn’t quite doing it for you, you might want to check out PupRug beds. They’re a little bit cheaper and have some seriously cool designs! Any experience with those guys?

I saw a few folks here questioning the price – and I tell ya’, I had the same thought at first, but do you know what’s more expensive than a high-quality dog bed? A high-quality canine chiropractor haha! So yeah – consider me on board with the Casper trend, doggy back alignment issues be damned!

And just for reference, anyone ever tried squishing into one of these things with thier fur baby for a quick nap? Yep, guilty here – they truly are comfy. Ahh…dog-parent life…

Anyone given the so-called “toughest” dog beds a try for comparison’s sake? Any of them stand up to our furry little destruction machines?

Just chiming in about the Casper dog bed. My retriever, Bella has been using it for two years straight now. Couldn’t agree more that the price had me raising an eyebrow at first, but the quality annd durability is beyond brilliant – definitely ends up being economical in the long run!

Only thing though, anyone else noticed how their dogs loved ripping and chomping on the zippers? Or is it just a Bella thing? Managed to get the replacement cover so all good, but still curious if it’s been a common issue for other paw-rents here. Cheers!

But did anyone else notice how small the size guide runs? Rocky’s definitely not exactly a petite little thing and he just about fits the large.

Anyone know if they’re planning on introducing an extra-large anytime soon? Gotta keep our big fur babies comfy too, am I right?

In terms of maintaining the bed, it’s been really easy. The material holds up well in the wash – did anyone else find this to be the case too? As for those considering this bed, I would definetly recommend sizing up if your pup is borderline between sizes based on thier guide. It’s better they have some extra space to sprawl out than feel cramped. All in all, I’d say this was a goo dinvestment for us!

    fellow dog parents,

Totally get the confusion about the size guide. When I first eyeballed it for my golden, Stanley, it seemed off too. 🤔 I took a shot and went one size up from what was recommended. Thankfully, Stanley fits perfectly on it with enough room to stretch out his old bones.

On the note of washing, couldn’t agree more! The material is truly durable and looks just as good even after few washes. Stanley’s got some muddy paw-prints tendencies and this bed handles them like a champ. 👍

The only point where I differ is with the price tag – feels a bit steep initially. But considering how much comfort it gives our furries and its longevity, turns out pretty worth it for me.

Anyone else thinks they should do frequent sales or something to ease that initial dent on wallet? 😀 Anyway, Stanley sends his woofs of approval for this bed!

    Stay pawsome,
    Stanley’s hooman

So, anyone else noticed thier fluffy friends choosing the Casper more often? Or do your doggos still favor the cold hard floor over soft comfy beds?? 🐶

However, after a couple of years of regular use (annd machine washing), I’ve noticed that they aren’t as durable as other brands we’ve previously used – the material’s a bit thinner and doesn’t hold up too well against their clawing. If uve got dogs that love digging into thier beds before settling in, might want to keep an eye on wear n tear.

Anyone else had this issue or are my girls extra destructive? Does anyone have alternative suggestions for tough but comfy beds? Might be time for us to look into some new options…

I too made the switch to Casper beds for my pups couple years back, and I gotta say they’re all over it like bees to honey. They seem to realy love the memory foam, can’t fault them there!

However, I’ve also noticed some wear and tear, but frankly, after regular machine washing and roughhousing by energetic Labradors who treat it as their wrestling ring…it was expected. I liked the point about the durability compromise for that cushy comfort.

I guess my advice would be to mabye limit the wash frequency if possible? Not ideal, I know (dogs will be dogs afterall). But seriously check out those couch style beds for durable alternatives. Has anyone tried those with success?

    Peace out ya’ll!
