Just to throw a wrench in the works though, have you guys considered looking at other brands too? For instance, we also got a bed from “The Dog’s Balls” (don’t laugh!) annd it’s pretty great too! Peanut bounces between the two all the time so maybe it’s worth giving another brand a look-see.

Anyone else tried ‘The Dog’s Balls’? How’s your experience been with thier beds?

But I gotta admit, I also have a Furhaven pet bed that’s pretty hit with my terrier. It’s super plush and cozy, and the egg-crate foam base is great for his joints. So yea, while Best Friends by Sheri beds are top-notch, there’s always room to explore other brands too.

Anybody else here tried Furhaven or any other alternative brands?

Though if we’re talking alternaitves, anyone gave a thought to the Snoozer Cozy Cave? It’s not as soft as the Sheri but it does offer that covered design, real hit with digs liking small spaces or covers, ya know? 😉 What you folks think about it?

Now about the Furhaven, solid bed with its own merits, but my golden just seems to take to the Sheri bed more. Might be due to that special “dirt and hair resistant” bottom it has – really works wonders!

And hmm.. the Snoozer Cozy Cave? Haven’t quite tried that one out yet. Anyone have any firsthand experience or inputs about its durability, particularly with larger dogs?

Now abou the Furhaven, we tried that one too, but she jsut didn’t go for it as much, might be more about personal preference of our four-legged friends tho… Snoozer Cozy Cave is a pretty cool alternative you suggested there, mabye the next buy if my chewer ever gets through their Sheri bed 😅.

The calming shag fabric seems to really make him feel comfortable whenever there’s a thunderstorm or loud noises (fireworks are not his friend). He just burrows himself into the donut shape and next thing we know, he’s snoring!

I’ve seen some folks complain about washing it though. Word of advice: follow the washing instructions. We learned the hard way after trying to tumble dry it on high heat – took ages for it to get back to its normal fluffy state!

Overall though, no regrets at all with this purchase. Totally rate this dog bed! Anybody else have washing stories or tips? Have you used any other beds that compare?

If you’re on budget though, I saw another plush bed at Costco that looked nice and comfy as well but haven’t tried it personally. Can’t remember the brand off the top of my head, but worth a look if you’re interested!

Just remember, nothing substitutes for hugs and comforting words during those scary thunderstorms. Here’s hoping for fewer storms this year, eh?
