So, you’re thinking about trying Heart to Tail dog food? Cool, I’ve been feeding it to my golden retriever Max for a good while now. Honestly, he loves it, cleans his bowl right up. The ingredient list doesn’t make me want to pull my hair out either – no by-products or artificial junk.

That said, every pup is different. Max’s coat is shinier and he seems energized but my neighbor’s dog didn’t fare as well on it; upset her tummy something awful. You know your pooch best.

I say give it a whirl (slow transition though, don’t flick the switch on their diet in one go) and keep an eye out for any signs of distress or discomfort.

    Hope this helps!

P.S. Don’t forget those belly rubs—they are just as important as quality kibble!

Oh, you’re curious about Heart to Tail dog food, huh? I actually started using it for my Lab a few months ago. We switched from a pricier brand since money’s a bit tight. Honestly, I’ve been pretty surprised with the results! Coco seems to really enjoy the flavor – she’s always wagging her tail enthusiastically at meal times now.

I did notice softer stools initially, but our vet said it can happen when changing a dog’s diet. We gradually mixed in the new food with the old one over a week or so and everything normalized soon after. So maybe give that a go if you plan on switching.

The ingredient list doesn’t seem half bad either, especially considering the price point. But hey, I’m no pet nutritionist so take that for what it’s worth.

All in all, I’d say the quality’s been decent for what we paid. Of course, every dog is unique and could react differently to any food change so keep an eye out and consult your vet juts to be sure.

You know your fur baby best! Good luck with your decision-making process!

    Until next time,

Hey there fellow dog lovers! Just thought I’d pop in and share my experience with Heart to Tail dog food. Went ahead and swapped my golden retriever’s kibble to the Heart to Tail brand about a month ago. Honestly, I was a bit wary at first as switching brands can be a bumpy ride, but he took to it quite well!

I appreciate that it’s no artificial flavors or preservatives, which is what turned me onto this brand initially. You know how fussy goldens can be when it comes to their food, but mine seems quite content with the taste. He clears his dish in record time these days!

One thing I did notice after a couple of weeks was the improvement in his coat. It appears much shinier now – could be due to the Omega 6 fatty acids they rave about.

However, I do wish they had more grain-free options for dogs with sensitive stomachs. I’ve got another little four-legged friend at home who can’t digest grains too well.

All things considered, Heart to Tail gets an 8 out of 10 from me! Good quality at a decent price point. But people, as always, keep an eye on your pooch while trying new food. What works for one might not work as well for another.

Just my two cents; hope someone finds this useful!

    Happy tail wagging!

Hey folks, just thought I’d weigh in on the Heart to Tail dog food convo. Buster, my five-year-old Lab, absolutely loves it! It’s been a few months since we switched from his old brand and I’ve pretty much seen nothing but positive changes so far.

Remember when peeps were complaining about their dogs having energy dips? Well with Heart to Tail, Buster seems a bit more active, sprightly even… kind of like a pup again! His coat’s softer too—I won’t complain about less shedding.

That said, he did take some time to adjust. During the first couple of days, he turned up his snout a bit. But be patient guys, transitioning dog food can ruffle any pet’s routine. It’s like us switching from pizza to salads overnight (ha! as if). After a week though, his bowl was licked clean within minutes, every meal.

One tip, they have grain-free options which are great for sensitive stomachs but check with your vet first if you’re thinking of going grain-free. Every furball is unique after all.

So yeah, based on my experience with Buster—Two paws up for Heart to Tail! Anybody else tried it? Would love to hear more fur-parent reviews!

Now onto the real question… did my fussy eater Spike enjoy it? Honestly, can’t say it was love at first sniff for him. He was definitely suspicious of the new kibble in his dish. Took him a few pokes with his nose before he actually started eating it, but once he began, there were no stop-offs till the bowl was licked clean.

Over the course of a couple weeks of using Heart to Tail, I’ve noticed Spike’s coat looking shinier than before which speaks volumes about the nutrition quotient, given that we’ve made no other changes to his diet or routine. Also important to note is that there has been no trouble in the digestion department (fellow owners of sensitive-stomach dogs would know what I’m talking about).

Price-wise, it’s competitive with other premium brands out there – not too heavy on your pockets if you’re just trying it out or planning on long-term feeding.

Bottom line: It wasn’t an immediate hit but now seems to keep Spike happy annd healthy and really, that’s all one could ask for. If you’re considering switching up your dog’s diet, this one might be worth giving a shot. Just make sure to transition gradually to avoid upsetting your furry friend’s stomach. Hope this helps!
