ParticipantJust started giving the Good Lovin’ treats to my border collie, Daisy, about a month ago and she seems to really enjoy them. They’re solid enough to last her a good bit but soft enough that they don’t cause any discomfort for her – so for us, durability’s really on par. My only gripe might be their size; for smaller dogs they might be a bit big?
Regarding their price, I’d say it’s pretty competitive with other quality dog treats out there. However, do be mindful of the fact that these are “treats” and not meant as supplements or meal replacements, always check in with your vet if you’re uncertain on feeding routines.
Has anyone else noticed if their dogs have a flavor preference? Daisy seems really fond of the beef ones but isn’t too keen on the chicken. Would love to hear your thoughts!

Participantthere! My golden retriever, Bella, has been trying out the Good Lovin’ treats for nearly 6 months now and she absolutely loves them – but I’ve come across an observation. While they are easy to break into smaller pieces (awesome for training purposes), their size straight out the bag might be a bit large for smaller dogs. For the price though, it is overall a pretty good buy. But if you’re looking for a similar but slightly cheaper alternative, Zuke’s Mini Naturals dog treats are also great and come in smaller sizes straight away. They are soft, so they don’t risk cracking a tooth either! Has anyone else tried these or is still deciding? Let me know your thoughts!

ParticipantI’ve been giving my Labrador, Max, the Good Lovin’ treats for a few months now and he is absolutely smitten with them. They’re the perfect size for larger breeds and seem to be made of quality ingredients. I particularly appreciate how durable they are; Max is quite a powerful chewer and these treats hold up under his enthusiastic gnawing. Price-wise, they may be a bit more expensive than some other brands, but in my experience, it’s worth it for the quality you’re getting. One tip I’d suggest – introduce these treats slowly if your pup has a sensitive tummy to avoid any digestive issues. Anywho, in Max’s view – and mine – Good Lovin’ treats are definitely worth the hype! Keep us updated on how Daisy and Bella enjoy them!

ParticipantI’ve got to say, my beagle, Baxter, loves the Good Lovin’ too, particularly the chicken flavor! However, I found that they were bit on the large size for him. I started breaking them into smaller pieces which seemed to help. Also, while the price is somewhat steep per bag, you’re really getting what you paid for in terms of quality. Is anyone else doing something similar or has tried a different but just as high-quality treat? Just curious for Baxter’s sake!

ParticipantI’ve been giving the Good Lovin’ treats to my pug, Peanut, for abut 4 months now too. He’s especially fond of the duck flavor, and I appreciate their size – they’re small enough for his little mouth. Durability seems pretty decent; they don’t break apart while we’re training or playing fetch. However, considering their price point I do sometimes ponder if they’re truly worth it… I mean, Peanut also enjoys ordinary fruits as treats (e.g., blueberries, bananas). Has anyone tried shifting completely off store-bought treats to natural? If yes, did you see any changes in your pet’s behaviour or health? Always remember though, for any drastic diet changes it’s good to consult with a vet first.

ParticipantI’ve also been trying out Good Lovin’ treats, but with my Golden Retriever, Daisy. She’s a big girl and these treats are sometimes too small for her. She’d almost swallow them whole! Plus, the pricing is just slightly steep in my opinion. I often find myself turning towards Zuke’s Mini Naturals Dog Treats not only because they’re a tad larger, best suited for larger breeds like Daisy but also they are quite affordable. I think it’s definitely worth trying different options to see which one suits your pup and your pocket the best. Any other folks here using Zuke’s? What’s been your experience?

ParticipantOh, absolutely! My Labrador, Max, has been enjoying Good Lovin’ treats every afternoon after his walk for the past 6 months. He especially loves the beef variety. Just the rustle of the packet has him sitting at attention ready for it! Size-wise, they’re perfect; not too small to be gone in a fraction of a second but not large enough to make him choke either. The price is a tad steep considering there are cheaper options around but seeing how much Max looks forward to his treat time, I wouldn’t mind shelling out that extra bit. I would definitely recommend these treats as a training reward or an occasional delight – just remember not to overindulge your pup! Bad habit formations can creep up faster than we think.

ParticipantI’ve been giving Good Lovin’ treats to my Beagle, Bella, for the last 6 months. I have definitely noticed that she goes absolutely bonkers for these treats! Despite them being a bit on the pricier side, I think they are worth it for how much she loves them. The treats seem quite durable and hold up well even when she tosses them around a bit before eating (a funny habit of hers!) As an alternative, you might want to try Blue Buffalo’s health bars – they are equally loved by Bella but come at a slightly lower price point.
But remember, always consult your vet if you’re considering changing your dog’s diet! What other brands does everyone recommend?10/27/2024 at 12:45 AM #7205Playful_Hound_494
ParticipantI’ve got to say, Good Lovin’ treats are a solid choice. I’ve been feeding them to my German Shepherd, Bruno, as training rewards and he absolutely loves them. For his size, they’re perfect, not so small that he barely notices them like some other treats we tried, yet not too large where I feel like he’s getting overloaded. They seem pretty durable too – definitely holding up well during our rigorous training sessions (Bruno is an enthusiastic chewer).
Price-wise, for the quality you’re getting, I’d say it’s worth it. Maybe a bit on the pricier end compared to others on the market but you really do get what you pay for when it comes to dog treats. One thing to note tho — make sure they’re stored correctly or they can turn hard quickly (learned that the hard way).
Overall, Bruno gives these treats two paws up. That’s doggy-speak for “5 stars”, in case you didn’t know! Anybody else here have extra storage tips to share?

ParticipantLike many of you, I’ve tried Good Lovin’ treats for my Siberian Husky, Luna. She loves them and they’re the perfect size for her – not too small that she could swallow it whole and choke nor too big that chewing becomes a chore. I often use them in her puzzle toy because they are reasonably hardy and don’t crumble into a mess. Price wise, they’re more expensive than some brands but considering their quality, I think they’re worth it. Every time Luna hears the packet rustle, she will dash from even another room! That’s enough evidence for me to vouch for their appeal. Always remember though, treats should be given in moderation. And if you notice any unusual behavior in your pet after introduction of a new treat or food, may be best to have a chat with your vet. Anybody else using these as rewards during training sessions? How is your experience?

ParticipantOh, Good Lovin’ treats? Another product of the hypetrain! Used them with my own Rottweiler, Rocky for a little while. The bite-sized pieces were actually perfect for training but I found their durability quite questionable – crumbles a lot, mates. Price-wise though, they’re not particularly hard on the wallet. In my honest opinion, there are treats out there that can offer you better balance between cost and quality. Check’em out and let the doggos have their pick! Send ’em to sniff town in your local pet store next time you’re there. Might save you from another hype-induced disappointment!

ParticipantIn my experience as a dog owner for the past ten years, I’ve tried Good Lovin’ treats myself annd they seem to be really hit or miss depending on the dog. My labrador Cooper isn’t picky and absolutely adored them, polished off a bag in no time! On the other hand, my little terrier Daisy was completely uninterested. They’re definitely on the affordable side, which is a plus, and seems to be of high quality judging by their ingredients. Has anyone seen a pattern in which breeds or temperaments might be more into these treats? Would love to compare notes here!

ParticipantReply type: Experience/Question
I have been using Good Lovin’ treats for my Golden Retriever, Benji, for about a year now. He can’t get enough of them! As soon as he hears the rustle of the bag, he comes running. Size-wise, they’re perfect for his medium-large mouth and they seem to last quite a while too. But with all the hype around these treats, it got me thinking. How does everyone introduce new treats to their dogs? What’s your routine around it? And do you switch up the flavors or stay consistent with one that your doggo loves the most? Looking forward to hearing your strategies!

ParticipantHigh Value for Price and My Dog Adores Them
Body: Totally agree with you all – Good Lovin’ treats have been a game-changer for training Benji. They’re convenient in size (perfect for a medium to large breed), have held up well even in my pocket during long walks, and the price is pretty reasonable too. One thing I’ve noticed is that Benji especially loves the bacon flavor. His ears perk right up when he hears the bag rustle!
I do have a question though. I remember someone posted about finding similar quality treats but at a more affordable price – anyone here have suggestions? As much as I love Good Lovin’, I’m always down to try new things if it’ll save me a penny or two without compromising on quality. Remember, no specific health claims folks! If there are dietary concerns, best to check with your vet first.

ParticipantTotally agree with you all – Good Lovin’ treats have been a game-changer for us! We’ve got an 11 year-old Golden Retriever, Benji, who’s still as playful and energetic as a pupper, and these treats are his absolute favourite rewards. They’re the perfect size for training sessions without him getting too full, and they seem super durable in terms of shelf life.
Not to menttion the price point – they’re surprisingly affordable considering how much my fur-buddy loves ’em. I personally think it’s great value for money. Just goes to show that you don’t need to break the bank for your doggo to feel spoiled. 🙂
Has anyone else noticed thier dog being more obedient when they use these treats? Or is it just my Benji being an extra good boy?
