It can be a bit on the pricy side, but in my opinion, the quality and those adorable kitty prints are definitely worth it. Anyone else been tempted by this ridiculously cute dog bed? Or got any other fun options for pups with a penchant for all things plushy?
So I managed to snag one of those adorable Hello Kitty dog beds as a surprise for my little Frenchie, Bella. Gotta say, it’s as cute in person as in the pictures – pastel colors and soft plush fabric is just what she loves to snuggle into!
Anyone worried about quality shouldn’t fret because after 4 months of daily use, it’s still looking pretty fresh. Although, be prepared for some slobbery Hello Kitty face time – my Bella adores her new bed so much that cuddle sessions are non-negotiable. Agree with some of you that it’s not the biggest bed around though– might not be ideal if your pupper is anything bigger than small-to-medium-sized.
One piece of advice from personal expereince; I’d recommend giving it a good wash before use since the smell of new fabric can be offputting to some pups (mine included!). Don’t worry, it withstands machine washing just fine 😉
Has anyone tried out other cutesy pet beds like this? I’ve seen a few Pokemon ones online that caught my eye… Thoughts?
Oh man, the infamous Hello Kitty dog bed. I’ve gotta tell ya, my stubborn ol’ bulldog won’t give it a second look, fancy design or not. All the pink frilly stuff doesn’t really translate to comfort, ya know?
To be fair though, it seems well made – the material’s quite durable (trust me, my pup’s chewed it enough times). My advice? Go for substance over style when picking out a bed buddies! Anybody else have this same Hello Kitty “don’t care” doggo situation at home?
Maybe try something more orthopedic focused next time instead of fashionable. Ever heard of Memory Foam dog beds?
And as much as I’m all for brand loyalty and matching Spot’s bed to my kids’ Hello Kitty everything, there are some pretty top-notch durable and orthopaedic options out there that could be better suited for larger dogs if that’s what you’re dealing with. Just a thought!
OMG, you guys weren’t kidding about that Hello Kitty dog bed! Picked one up for my new pup, Bella, and she fell in love with it quicker than a squirrel darting up a tree. The kiddos can’t get enough of it either, always trying to claim it for their stuffies – gotta draw the line somewhere, right? haha. But hey, at least it matches their Hello Kitty everything else.
Sure, I might be new to this whole pet owner charade, but trust me when I say this bed is paw-fect (see what I did there? 😂). Anyone on the fence about getting one – just do it, worth everi penny in my book. Plus, isn’t matching stuff between kids n dogs just instagrammable goals?
But am I the only one worried about cleaning this thing? Any tips on keeping it looking fresh and not like a kennel blowout… asking for a friend 😉
Must say, it’s surprisingly sturdy for a product aimed at kids. The padding stands up well too, even after numerous washings. Perfect for smaller breeds though, not sure how a Lab or German Shepard would fare on it ;).
What’s more intriguing is, Molly seems to love it? You guys might remember her old obsession with her plain tan bed…but no such luck now! She’s HELLO KITTY all the way!
Question for those who’ve had it a bit longer: have you noticed any fading with the Hello Kitty print? Just curious as this perkiness is part of what won Molly over…don’t want her sulking if Kitty vanishes post few more washes. Lemme know!

Totally agree with you guys, that Hello Kitty dog bed is really something. Brought it home for my munchkin, Baxter, and he’s been sleeping like a baby ever since! The padding holds up incredibly well, as someone mentioned before. The fabric? Super easy to clean, didn’t expect that bonus.
And here’s a little tip: if your fur baby is a chewer like mine (rest in pieces, several squeaky toys), this bed has stood the test of time – no rips or tears yet. Anyone else notice their pups love this bed as much as mine?
