I’ve been giving my 2-year-old Beagle, Maggie, these Full Moon dog treats for a few weeks now and she’s head over tail in love with them! The ingredients are all-natural, which is a huge plus for me. Their size is perfect for smaller breeds like Maggie too!

Here’s a little story…a week ago, we were working on leash training and she was really distracted by a squirrel she spotted across the park. I whipped out one of these treats and suddenly I had her full attention again. So these not only work great as a treat but also as an effective training gadget.

The only downside I found is the price point. While they’re fantastic quality, they are slightly on the pricier end of dog treats I’ve bought before. But you know what they say – you get what you pay for!

If you’re looking for an alternative though, you might want to look into Rocco & Roxie’s gourmet jerky sticks. They’re similar in quality but more affordable. My previous dog, Buster, was absolutely nuts about them.

Something to bear in mind if you’re transitioning your fur baby from their regular treats to a new brand like Full Moon – always make sure to do it gradually or their tummy might not agree with the change!

Does anyone else have experience with high-quality treats that don’t break the bank? Please share your finds!

I’m glad to hear your Beagle is enjoying the Full Moon treats! My Golden Retriever, Max, really loved them too when we first introduced ’em. However, I started noticing that they were a bit too large for him. He’s only a year old annd still has quite small teeth; so it was hard for him to chew them up.

We then switched to Blue Buffalo Wilderness Training Treats. They’re smaller, softer and Max seems to prefer their taste, gobbling them up in no time flat. Plus, I think they’re reasonably priced for high-quality dog snacks. Just an alternative you might want to consider if you ever face difficulty with Full Moon treat size or hardness!

Anyone else experienced this with their pups? It’ll be interesting to see how common this issue might be. Remember tho, always best to consult the vet if your pet struggles with any chewables or shows signs of discomfort.

Gotta say, those Full Moon treats are a big hit with my Maltipoo, Bella. She’s on the smaller side so I appreciate that they’re not too large for her petite mouth. But let me tell ya, make sure you seal them up tight back in the bag or else you’ll get a scenario like mine: Bella nosed open the pantry and discovered them herself – treat-self-service! And as far as cost goes, they’re certainly not the cheapest option out there, but hey, seeing Bella’s wagging tail when she gets one makes it worth every penny. Anyone else had thier pooch turn into Houdini over these treats?

I’ve been alternating between the Full Moon and another brand for my Lab, Rocky. While he enjoys the taste of the Full Moon treats, they can be a big chunky for him at times and I have to break them down a bit. jsut wondering if anyone else noticed this? I wonder if smaller dogs find them harder to chew or not? On a positive note, I do like the resealable bag and that you don’t have to worry about artificial ingredients. Overall though, they seem like a great treat!

Absolutely agree with you all about the Full Moon treats. My Dalmatian, Spot, goes bonkers for them! They’re perfectly sized for him, and the resealable bag is surely a plus – keeps ’em fresh and crunchy every time! And hey, they’re not just tasty, they feel somewhat healthy too. Pleasantly surprised with the quality for such a decent price.

In terms of advice – well, these work great as training tweaks. Spot’s been more eager during agility drills since I’ve started using these as rewards. Just remember to adjust their regular meal portions if you’re using treats frequently throughout the day.

Was anyone else initially worried about how their pupper would react to the chicken flavor? Interested to hear your thoughts around that.

Anyone else noticed how long these Full Moon treats last? I have a French Bulldog, Rufus, who’s a big time chewer. He’s taken other treats to town and demolished ’em in minutes, but these sticks seem to be made of tougher stuff! Even with the extra entertainment value for Rufus’s gnashing sessions, I find the price point to be reasonable. Do any heavy chewers out there have similar experiences or other brand suggestions?

Oh, boy, Full Moon treats? Tell me about it! My pug, Flossy, could probably power a small city with the energy she gets from those things. Nice size for her little mouth and they actually seem to last longer than other treats we’ve tried. Material seems more durable and firm which is great for her teeth, I guess. Paid through the nose at the boutique downtown though…anyone know where to get them on discount? FYI, if your pup has sensitive tummy issues you might wanna consult your vet first before switching treats.

Absolutely loving these Full Moon dog treats over here too, folks. My Golden Retriever, Sunny, can’t get enough of them. Here’s my micro-story – the second I open the bag, she’s literally right there wagging her tail furiously. But, here’s my question: Has anyone tried using these as training treats? Would they be a bit large for that or are they easy to break into smaller pieces? SlimJims didn’t realy fill the bill for us because Sunny would jsut swallow them whole! So, I’m on the lookout for something more substantial and enticing but suitable for training sessions too. Any advice is much appreciated! No medical claims here, but if your dog shows any negative reactions you should definitely talk to your vet. Happy snacking, all you doggos out there.

Just joining the Full Moon treats fan club over here with my mischievous Dalmatian, Spot! They’ve become our go-to treats for training sessions. He’s usually a quick chewer but these last him quite a while, which is great for keeping him occupied too. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the treats – they’re bigger than your average treat but not too large for smaller breeds. They’re made from natural ingredients, which eases my mind about what Spot’s eating. As for price, they are slightly more expensive than other brands but I feel it’s well worth it considering the quality annd how long they last. For anyone considering giving these a whirl, I’d say – go fot it! Just remember, consult your vet if you notice any changes in your pet’s behaviour or eating habits. Anyopne else spotted these on special anywhere?

I’m definitely part of the Full Moon fan club too. My border collie, Max, is usually a bit fussy about his treats, but he’s taken to these like duck to water. I really love that they are grain-free, which works wonders with Max’s sensitive tummy – also the fact that they’re made with real meat and are free from those pesky artificial fillers.

Sure enough, they’re not the cheapest option on the market but in my opinion, it’s well worth it for a quality treat. Pro tip: Consider dividing the pieces up if you have a smaller pooch or you’re mindful of treat portion sizes. Just be ready for those pleading puppy dog eyes asking for more!

Is anyone else’s fur friend as obsessed with the chicken flavor as Max is?

Oh, boy! Finally, someone mentioned Full Moon’s treats. It’s like we’re all part of some secret society now, huh? So my French Bulldog, Frenchie (I know, my creativity knows no bounds), is a picky little thing. I got the chicken flavor strips from Full Moon, and they are pretty sizeable for a small dog. Cut ’em into smaller pieces and KABOOM — Frenchie thinks he’s had a four-course meal instead of one treat.

The price isn’t outrageous either. While the pockets may feel heavier after shopping, the wagging tail and happy snuffling makes it worth every penny. Anyone else attempted portion control with these? Seems to be working great for Frenchie here.

there, fellow Full Moon aficionados! I too have been rather pleased with these treats as a little incentive during training sessions with my stubborn Beagle, Bella. The smaller size of the treats seems to evoke just enough interest without overwhelming her. However, for anyone who has a fur baby with more extensive dietary restrictions, try giving Zuke’s Mini Naturals a go! They’re grain-free and come in a variety of flavors. Bella couldn’t resist them when she was struggling with some food allergies (all cleared now, thanks to our vet!). Does anyone else have recommendations for quality grain-free options?

Like many of you, I’ve found that Full Moon dog treats are a real hit with my fur family. My Yorkie, Daisy, adores the chicken strips and she looks forward to her treat-time so much now. Size-wise, they’re perfect for smaller breeds like her; not too big but satisfying enough. For anyone new to these goodies, I’d suggest introducing them slowly into your pup’s diet to avoid any potential upset tummies. Just remember to adjust their main meal portion accordingly as these treats are rich in protein! Overall, they’re a bit pricey compared to some other brands but absolutely worth it given the quality ingredients used. Also, owners on the go will love that they come in resealable bags—very convenient! Wondering if anyone has tried using these as training rewards? Seems like they could be highly motivational for our canine pals.

I’ve been buying Full Moon dog treats for my Golden Retriever, Max, for a while now. They’re just the right size for training exercises, annd I appreciate that they’re made from natural ingredients. Max usually tends to be quite picky when it comes to his treats but he devours these without a second thought – though he does have a particular liking for their chicken flavor over the others! In terms of price, they’re more on the $$ side compared to other brands, but well worth it given the quality and how much Max loves them… We tried switching once, let’s just say it didn’t end well with Max staging a hunger strike of sorts! 😅 Anyone else’s pup got a favorite Full Moon flavor or are they all in camp chicken flavor like Max?

I’ve got to chime in here with my two cents on Full Moon treats. I’ve got an old, fussy Basset Hound (Larry, bless his heart) who turns his snout up at pretty much anything. But Larry gobbles these treats right up! He’s never been one for the hard or overly chewy treats, so the soft texture of Full Moon hits just the right spot for him. Price-wise, they’re a touch pricier than what I’d generally spend, but hey, anything for Larry’s happiness and comfort. Just remember to check on the treat size while purchasing because they might be too large for smaller breeds – a mistake I made when I first started buying them for my Miniature Schnauzer.
