ParticipantI’ve been buying Triumph dog treats for my Lab, Bruno, for a solid 6 months now. They’re a decent size for him (not too big, not too small), annd they seem pretty durable – Bruno takes his time to chew them instead of jsut inhaling like some other treats we’ve tried! I’ll admit, the price point is a bit higher than some others out there, but I think the quality justifies it.
As an aside though, I noticed Bruno sometimes would lose interest after a few bites initially. What worked for us was breaking the treat into smaller pieces and using it during his training sessions. He started associating the treats with positive reinforcement and that made all the difference. Anyone else do this or have other tricks to keep their pups interested?

ParticipantI’ve also been using Triumph dog treats with my golden retriever, Fergus, and I’d have to say our experience has been somewhat middling. Yes, they’re of decent size, not too pricey, and Fergus seems to like the flavor well enough. However, I’ve found that they don’t hold up too well when we’re out on longer walks or if forgotten in the training pouch. They crush easily and then you ends up with more of a treat dust than actual full pieces. Anybodyelse found this or have I just had a run of unlucky bags? Also, any suggested alternatives that might stand up better during rough-and-tumble days out?

ParticipantI’ve been giving Triumph treats to my Springer Spaniel, Reggie, for a while now. They are indeed a nice size for training and he sure does seem to love ’em! The ingredients list seems relatively clean compared to some other brands as well; it gives me peace of mind knowing I’m not loading him up on unnecessary additives. But yeah, they’re a bit pricy.
One thing I’ve found though is that these can be a tad hard for Reggie sometimes, especially now that he’s getting into his golden years. He doesn’t seem bothered by it but I can’t shake the worry, ya know? So, occasionally, I switch to softer treats or tear these ones into smaller pieces for him.
Do any of you have an alternative that’s softer but still appealing in taste? Preferably something that won’t break the bank? Would love to exchange some ideas here!

ParticipantOh boy, how good are those Triumph treats really! I’ve been treating my Cocker Spaniel, Lucky, with Triumph morsels too. And yes, they come in a convenient size but I’ve found them to be a little tough for Lucky’s gentle bite. Does anyone else have this issue? His adorable yet utterly confused face while trying to gnaw at them is priceless though! Have you tried soaking them a tad bit before offering to Fergus and Reggie? Might make them a tad easier for our furry companions to munch on. Would love to hear your thoughts!

ParticipantJust finished a bag of these Triumph treats with my feisty Dachshund, Scruffles. Now, let me tell you… I was pretty skeptical about the size at first. Thought they’d be too ginormous for my little fellow, but turns out they’re an ideal munch size for him – without making a mess. Price wise? Not bad at all! You pay for quality here. As for durability, considering Scruffles mad passion for stuffing his face (bless him!), I can’t really say. However, he does seem to spend more time chewing, which presumably means he finds them tough enough!
Fun little micro-story: Scruffles was having none of the ‘spin-around’ command until Triumph treats entered the picture. So there’s a piece of advice – considered using it as a training incentive? Works a charm on stubborn furballs.

ParticipantI’ve had a generally positive experience with Triumph Dog Treats too. My Labrador, Missy, just loves ’em! They’re perfect in size for moderate treats and they seem to last quite a while in the pantry without going stale. I once used them for crate training; Missy would step inside her crate without creating any fuss just to get one of her favourite treats. The pricing seems fairly reasonable considering the quality and number of treats per bag. Just remember, though they seem healthier than some other brands out there, they should not replace a balanced diet. Always be mindful of how many you’re giving – opportunistic Labbies would gobble up the entire bag if given free rein! As always, if ever your dog responds negatively to a new food product, it’s best to consult your vet.

ParticipantIt seems we’re all in agreement here – I’ve also seen my beautiful Border Collie, Pixie respond well to Triumph dog treats. The size is perfect for her – not too large but big enough that she feels rewarded when I give her one. Plus, they have a good bit of chewiness to them, which Pixie seems to enjoy.
From a cost perspective, there’re definitely cheaper options, but then again we always want the best for our fur babies, don’t we? I mean it’s not like we’ll break the bank on these.
That being said and as a small tip for new users: before you let your dog run wild through a whole bag, introduce them slowly… start with maybe one or two treats a day and watch out for any changes in their bowel movement or behavior. Of course if anything feels off, it might be a good idea to consult your vet.
Question for y’all – how have you guys been using these treats? Training, rewards or else?

ParticipantI have to chime in here, folks. jsut finished the third bag of Triumphs with my Midas, a Golden Retriever, and he’s as enthusiastic as ever! I say it’s a win-win situation – he gets his nibbles, and I know there’s no junk stuff in ’em. They’re also small enough for him to munch on easily and don’t mess up the house. Only drawback has been their price tag is a bit on the steep slide – but considering how they keep Midas contented (and distracted when required- invaluable when I need to clip his nails), they’ve been worth every penny in our moments of peace. Plus, we don’t go through them super quick, so it balances out a bit! Might want to look out for deals though. Anybody else feel the same way about the price?

ParticipantInteresting to see so much positivity around Triumph Dog Treats. I, like many of you, have been using them for my rescue Lab-mix, Rocky, for a few months now. Amazingly enough, he seems to enjoy them just as much each time. The price point is also something to appreciate, given the quality of ingredients.
However, has anyone noticed the variation in size of treats from bag to bag? In our last pack, there seemed to be larger pieces compared to the previous ones. Rocky didn’t mind at all but I wonder if this is a normal thing or just a one-off?
Finally, I fully agree with the comments on how well dogs respond to these treats during training sessions! It’s been Rocky’s perfect reward for successfully learning new commands and tricks.

ParticipantWhile I think Triumph Dog Treats are fine, I’ve had a particularly good experience transitioning my hyperactive Dalmatian, Pepper, to Blue Buffalo’s Wilderness Trail Treats. They’ve got a size and ingredient composition that works very well for her—enough to keep her chewing but not too long that she gets bored or tired. Quality-wise, they’re comparable if not better than Triumph which was reflected in the slightly elevated price tag. If you have a larger breed like I do, swapping over might be worth contemplating. However, it ultimately hinges on your dog’s preferences!

ParticipantI too have been using Triumph Dog Treats for about a month, initially worried that the size might be too large for my teething Shih Tzu puppy, Molly. Surprisingly, they turned out to be just right and she absolutely loves ’em! The price is also quite reasonable considering the good quality and durability of these treats.
Just a tip though; it’s always important to supervise chew time to avoid any potential choking hazards with smaller puppies. This rule applies regardless of the treat brand or size.
One question I do have, however – has anyone else noticed their dog’s breath smelling better after regularly using Triumph treats? Molly doesn’t seem to have that typical “doggy breath” anymore but I’m not certain if this change is directly attributable to the treats. Would love anyone else’s insight on this. Thanks!

ParticipantAlright, so I haven’t got a dog myself but my sister who lives next door swears by these Triumph Dog treats. She’s been using them for her two rambunctious pugs and she keeps raving about how well they’ve taken to them. The price is pretty reasonable too considering the quality and durability of these treats. But, since everyone here seems to be rather positive about them, has anyone observed their dogs chewing on these any longer than usual? Or is my sister’s dog just an unusually persistent nibbler?
