Memberjsut wanted to chime in here and say I couldn’t agree more with the buzz around the pottery barn dog beds. I got the ‘Faux Fur Plush Dog Bed’ a couple of months ago – my border collie, Max, can’t seem to get enough of it! Super comfy and long-lasting compared to other brands we experimented with.
I’d add that if your pupper is a big chewer like Max once was (#puppydays 💕), you might want to supervise them for a bit? The covers are removable and washable but definately not chew-proof 🐶😅
Has anyone found similar comfy beds but one that could hold up to our furry little chewers?

MemberWhat I really appreciate is how durable these are; cleanups are a breeze even with the hairiest of buddies (looking at you German Shepherd!). For those of you worried about the price, let me justs ay it’s definitely a solid investment for your furry pals’ happiness and comfort. IMHO, every penny spent here is worth it when you see your pup snuggle in for their afternoon nap 😉

MemberThough they’re pricer than some other options out there, in our experience, the quality’s been worth it. Anybody else feels like these beds might be filled with some kind of magic? 😂 The cleanup aspect that’s being mentioned earlier – oh boy – spot on! Having a furrball means hair everywhere, but with this bed I swear some days cleaning is just too simple.
On another note, anyone got suggestions for doggy chew toys that can survive my little destroyer? I gotta save my shoes… 🐶👟

MemberSo I’ve got this Irish Setter, his name’s Finn. He’s got a taste for expensive things – my shoes, my wife’s handbags, and evidently, his beds. A few years back on Black Friday I bit the bullet on one of these PB dog beds. Figured if I’m going to spend that much, it might as well be when there’s at least some kinda discount, right? We pick up one of those fancy orthopedic cushion ones – big hit with Finn.
Fast forward six months. Despite the steep price tag, the thing is still in pretty good condition. No lumpy bits or flat spots yet (which feels like a freaking miracle compared to other beds we’d tried). Was it initially pricer than what I’d usually go for? Sure was, but if you think about all the replacemnts you might end up buying in say lenght of an year for a cheaper bed- Doesn’t sound like so bad of a deal anymore.
Also pro tip: the cover is machine washable, make sure you do that once in a while- makes them last longer!
Have any of you tried the faux fur ones they sell? Has to be godsend in winters!

MemberWe got her this amazing Pottery Barn dog bed and it’s been a gamechanger. She absolutely loves it! And bonus, it matches our home decor perfectly. So overall, a win-win situation.
Oh, but one thing to be aware of – check out the size guide carefully before ordering, as their sizing tends to run a little large. Anybody else noticed this too? Cheers!

MemberWe ended up finding this great alternative at Costco. It has memory foam and a removable cover, which has been amazing for muddy paw prints and is super cozy. Does anyone else have good luck with less pricey dog bed options or am I just cheap? 😂😳

MemberAs for the Costco alternative that you’ve mentioned about, sounds like a good deal! Removable cover is always a plus point with these fur buddies around. Maybe I’ll try that next if Roxy continues to spill out of her current bed, ha!

MemberAs for the costco alternative, I can see why that’d be appealing. But honestly, for us it was all about quality over price. Been through too many cheapo dog beds that just become flat as pancakes after a few weeks. At least with the Pottery Barn one, we feel like we’re finally getting our money’s worth.
Not saying Costco one isn’t good but ya know sometimes its not always bout’ the price tag eh?
Just my two cents guys! Happy shopping for your fur babies!
