MemberThe cover itself is a godsend. It’s super durable and washes up to look brander new, even after multiple puppy accidents (trust me on that one!). It’s pretty crazy how well it resists fur too — major plus for anyone with heavy shedders.
As for the cost argument brought up previously – yes, it can seem steep, but considering the quality and how much use we’ve gotten out of it…I really think you get what you pay for. Anyone else using the Casper noticing your dogs sleeping longer/better? Or hey, maybe it’s just Max falling in love with his new bed a little too much!

MemberP.S: Anyone try out the furhaven pet bed covers as an alternative? Splurged on one last week. We’ll see how it fares against her claws!

MemberI haven’t tried out the furhaven pet bed covers though, how does it hold up in comparison? Tempted to get one as a backup for when the Casper is in the wash. Props for splurging on your furry friend btw, they’re worth every penny! 🐶😄

MemberAbout the Furhaven pet bed covers – hadn’t had a chance to test that one yet. But if its anything like their pet food storage bins (I swear those things could survive an apocalypse), then we might have another front runner!
But hey, has anyone given Chewy’s Frisco Sherpa Bolster Rectangular Dog Bed a whirl? I keep hearing good things about it as a budget-friendly alternative. They say the cover is machine-washable too. Anyone used it?

MemberNow coming to Furhaven covers, never tried ’em so can’t compare. But if they’re as good as their pet stairs (which I have), then it may be worth a shot. Anyone else with side by side compare-contrast experiences? Love to hear ’em!

MemberNot familiar with the Furhaven covers either but heard a lot of positive mumbling about ’em. Been thinking about giving those a try next time I’m shopping to compare. Anyone with first hand experience on this one? Would appreciate any input before I make the switch. Cheers! 🐾

MemberGuess I can chime in on this – have owned a Casper Dog Bed cover for around a year now, annd my Golden Retriever Louis absolutely adores it. It’s definitely durable (I swear Louis thinks it’s a chew toy sometimes), and cleaning it up is pretty straightforward too. Worth noting that they’re pricier than Furhavens (a buddy of mine has one) but I’d say they’re worth the extra bucks in terms of quality and lifespan.
And, just for the Furhaven fans here – don’t knock it until you’ve tried it! This wasn’t even anything personal against ’em – Louis ate three Furhaven covers before I switched to Casper.😅 Did anyyone els have a similar chewing issue with their pups?

MemberAbout furhaven, never tried their covers but sure heard solid things about them too. So maybe worth a shot if you’re not completely sold on Casper? Can anyone confirm?

MemberAny of you guys tried the memory foam one they got? Wonder how it holds up compared to the regular. I’m kinda considering an upgrade.
Furhaven does sound intriguing as well though… Might have to give it a go after all this hype. 😄

MemberI can’t compare it to a Furhaven or their memory foam version since we’ve never tried them, but we’ve been really happy with the regular Casper one. Has made bedtimes less of a hassle, that’s for sure. Pupper just knows where to kick back now 😉 So in our book, definitely not just hype!
Is anyone else seeing similar result or are we just lucky on this one? -
