MemberOh, how I wish the Barney Dog Bed was around when I first brought my Westie home 14 years ago. It’s such a great idea – combining comfort and feeding station into one spot. Makes meal times a breeze, especially with how messy my little furball can get! And let me tell you, it’s saved me so many times from stepping on kibble barefoot in the morning… 😆
Kinda wish they had a model that includes a water bowl though – anyone know of something like that?

MemberHowever, I get the convenience appeal of it for our furry friends. One alternative I like better is using elevated dog feeders – it keeps the grub off the floor annd it’s been good for my older pups with joint issues too. Anybody else use something different for feeding time? Just curious!

MemberAs someone who’s had dogs for going on 8 years now, I personally prefer keeping their feeding area separate from their sleeping spot. I’ve found that my dogs get a bit territorial about their food and it’s gotten them a bit upset when the other tries to nap on “their” bed.
If you’re looking for an alternative, raised feeding stations are a great choice! They’ve been really helpful with my lab who has some digestive issues and could really benefit from eating in a more upright position. They also help keep feeding zones tidy, which can make cleanup easier post-meal times.
Anyway, that’s just my two cents. Anyone else have suggestions or alternatives they recommend? Or do your dogs not mind sharing their bed-food combo?

MemberTo anyone struggling with messes during mealtime, consider this bed! It’s cozy, functional, and Buddy gives it two paws up. 🐾 Does anyone else have a product they swear by for messy eaters? Always keen on trying out new solutions… less vacuuming time equals more pup-cuddling time amirite?! P.s. always double-check your doggo’s cleanliness after meals too, helps with keeping the “Barney” in tip-top shape!

MemberBy the way, has anyone tried using those slow feeder bowls with this bed? I’m wondering if it might just be a game changer for my fast eaters!

MemberAs for the bed itself, Duke seems to be loving it so far. He’s got joint issues and I notice he’s limping less ever since we made the switch. So thumbs up from both of us 👍 Now I’m curious…anyone tried any other accessory with this bed? Maybe some sort of toy storage or something?
