ParticipantPersonal Experience with Authority Dog Treats
In my experience, Authority Dog Treats have been a hit and miss with my pups. I’ve found the size to be perfect for my smaller dogs, but owners of larger breeds may find them a bit too small. The price is reasonable compared to other brands, though.
One thing to remember about these treats is that, in terms of durability, they might not be the most long-lasting choice if your fur baby is an aggressive chewer. For my Black Lab mix, Jake, they get gobbed down in seconds! But our Shih Tzu loves ’em – makes his tail wag like a little propeller each time.
Anyone else had a similar experience or found a certain flavor their dogs just can’t resist? I’m always looking for new suggestions to treat the gang 😉

Participantthere, I’ve been using Authority Dog Treats for my poodle mix, Frankie, for a few months now. We tried the grain-free chicken flavor initially. Size-wise, they were just right for her small mouth – not too big, not too tiny either, and she seemed to love the taste. The treats didn’t crumble easily which is a plus on my part for less cleaning.
With regards to the price, I found them quite affordable especially given the good quality. They actually helped me in training Frankie – she now instantly sits when she sees me grab the bag!
However, like all treats, moderation is key. You wouldn’t want it to replace their regular meals. Also, I’m curious — has anyone tried using these treats with puzzle toys? They seem about the right size but some insight would be great!

ParticipantI’d have to say my experience with Authority Dog Treats has been quite impressive. They’re a good size, not too big, and perfect for a quick reward after a bit of training. My Boxer, Cooper, absolutely devours them! The ingredients are pretty solid, but I did notice that the treats are a bit hard – worked well for Cooper’s strong jaw but might be too much for smaller or senior dogs. Has anyone else noticed this? Also, curious to know if there’s a softer variety?

ParticipantJust to chime in here, I too have found Authority Dog Treats to be a hit with my Lab, Bella. They are durably made which is great as Bella loves to chew and these treats keep her entertained for a while. Regarding size, they’re perfect for larger breeds like labs but might be a bit much for tinier pups. As for price, it feels fair considering the quality.
From an advice perspective, if you have multiple dogs with different sizes at home, it could be helpful to break the treat into parts accordingly to suit each dog’s size and dietary needs. Always remember though that with any new food item, it’s always good to introduce it gradually into your dogs diet and consult your vet if you have any concerns about adverse reactions or allergies as each pooch is different!
Anybody has experience using these treats for training? I’m wondering how well they work in that field.

Participantall, I’ve been reading these positive reviews about Authority Dog Treats annd thinking of trying them out for my own fur buddy, a hefty golden retriever named Max. Although many of you mentioned they’re a good size for smaller breeds, do you think they’d still be satisfactory for a larger dog like Max in terms of both portion size and satisfaction? As I find some treats are simply not filling enough and he ends up begging for more. Appreciate your insights!

ParticipantTotally agree with the comments, folks. I’ve been buying Authority Dog Treats for my boxer, Jake, for about a couple years now. They’re not just great size-wise, but also reasonably priced annd enduring – Jake takes about 5 minutes to chow one down. Plus, they helped a lot when we were in the potty-training phase – perfect rewards after successful outdoor bathroom breaks! Thinking about what to give your pooch next? Go with Authority. Has anyone tried their chicken flavor? Wondering if it’s as big of a hit as the peanut butter ones.

ParticipantWell, here’s an alternative for you dog treat shoppers. I’ve been using Zesty Paws Calming Bites for my energetic Beagle, Daisy, and they’ve been terrific; not just flavorful but also helpful in taming her bouncing around, especially when we have guests. She loves the turkey flavor! It’s a tad pricier than Authority but seems to last longer because the treats are fairly sizable. Worth considering if your dog is high-energy like mine. Remember, though guys, it’s always worth asking your vet before switching treats or food brands; every pooch is unique after all! Anyone else tried these with their pup?

ParticipantI’ve been using Authority Dog Treats for my corgi, Poppy, for a while now. She loves the taste and I can testify that these treats are quite durable and nicely sized! Used to have a hard time getting her attention during training sessions, but these treats worked like a charm, they’re irresistible to her. Besides, their price isn’t too shabby either. However, every dog’s taste can be unique so it wouldn’t hurt to try out different brands too! after all, diversity is the spice of life, right?

ParticipantI guess I’m on the same boat with most of you here. Been feeding Authority Dog Treats to my cocker spaniel, Freckles, for over a year annd I honestly can’t complain about them. They’re a right size for her (she’s small-medium) and despite their durability, she never struggled with them. Best part? They’re easy on the wallet too!
But how are these treats for pups? My sister is bringing home a little Golden Retriever soon, and I was thinking about recommending Authority to her as well. Any of you folks have experience with these treats and puppies?

ParticipantSo, you wanna know about Authority Dog Treats? I’ve been using them with my feisty Beagle, Roscoe, for a few years now. He goes absolutely bonkers for them, making training exercises a breeze. They’re the right size to not overfeed him and appear pretty durable – haven’t noticed any crumble or squash issues during our jaunts. Price-wise, they won’t leave you eating ramen for a month either. My only beef (pun intended) is that some flavors seem to have relatively high salt content. Roscoe’s thirst definitely increases afterward, so make sure fresh water is available if you’re using these treats. Just my two cents…anyone else noticed the same thing or is it just my salty dog?

ParticipantI’m absolutely in agreement with the positive reviews of Authority Dog Treats. I’ve been using these for my Rottweiler, Bruno, and he wolfs them down like there’s no tomorrow! What I really appreciate about these treats is their convenient size – they’re not too big, not too small, just enough for a little reward or distraction. Plus, even with Bruno’s mighty jaws, they hold up well and don’t crumble easily. In terms of price, you get what you pay for – solid quality without breaking the bank. A word of advice tho, while these seem to be a big hit with our furry friends, always remember to regulate treat consumption! It’s easy for them to gobble up more than necessary because they love the taste so much. Anyone else notice their dogs gobbling them up quicker than usual?

ParticipantI’ve been a fan of Authority Dog Treats for around 4 years now. I got my retriever, Bailey, on them when he was jsut a pup annd they’ve become a staple in our rewarding and training routine. They’re the right size for him to chew easily – not too big but still substantial, and they last pretty long even considering Bailey’s powerful jaws!
For price point compared to quality, I believe these treats are unbeatable. My one gripe would be that they can get a tad crumbly sometimes which isn’t ideal when I want to take them along for walks or outdoor training sessions. So for those times, I prefer using more durable treat options (like rubber Kong toys filled with snack) that can withstand the adventure!
What does everybody else use during their outdoor sessions? Are there any particular brands you’d recommend for more robust treats?
