Totally agree with your review of Blue Buffalo dog treats. I’ve been using them for years to reward my furry pal, Rufus – a Great Dane with an appetite the size of Texas! The treats are definitely pricey, but they’re like the Rolls Royce of doggo snacks: top-notch quality, premium ingredients and they’re chunky enough for larger breeds.

One thing to watch out though – Rufus once found the bag and scoffed down half of it in one go! Not surprisingly he wasn’t interested in his dinner that night. So, be sure to store them somewhere out-of-reach if you have a voracious eater on your hands too.

Anyone else experienced this with their dogs? Or is it just sneaky ol’ Rufus here? Love to hear your stories.

Couldn’t agree more about Blue Buffalo’s treats – they’ve been a game changer for my dogs. Larger dogs might find them on the smaller side, but my corgi, Bodie, just loves them. We’ve gone through countless bags over the years. When we first introduced Blue Buffalo into his routine, I made sure to break them half to avoid any overfeeding. As far as durability goes, they aren’t too crumbly or messy which is nice for clean-up. My only qualm is that they’re a bit pricey, but you certainly get what you pay for in terms of quality. Anyone else have tips on how to make these treats last longer?

Isn’t it fascinating hoe much dogs love these Blue Buffalo treats? I’ve been using them for my Goldie for the past 2 years and he will do anything for one! Just curious though, have anyone noticed a difference between the soft and crunchy version in terms of their dog’s preference? Personally, my Goldie leans more toward the soft treats – seems like they’re easier for him to chew. Can that perhaps be linked to his age (He’s turning 8 this year)? For any health concerns, I’d recommend seeing a vet, but just wondering if anyone else has noticed this with their pups too.

Absolutely echo the love for Blue Buffalo treats here – my Shepherd mix, Bella, goes absolutely nuts for them! I especially appreciate the variety of natural ingredients and sizes offered, it’s pretty evident they’ve put thought into crafting wholesome snacks. Bella’s training really elevated when we started using these as a reward system so I’ll vouch for their effectiveness in that area. As for pricing, they might be on the higher end compared to some other brands, but quality doesn’t come cheap and I believe it’s worthwhile investing in healthy options like Blue Buffalo. Just remember that treats should complement your pup’s diet, not replace meals. Any changes in behavior or health always warrant a consult with your vet. Anyone else use these treats for training too?

Absolutely, Blue Buffalo dog treats are pretty top-notch. I have a Labrador Retriever, and she’s always picky with her food but with Blue Buffalo treats, it’s love at first taste! She seems to enjoy them immensely, and the good news is – even as a bigger breed, they last long enough for her to chew and savor. Funny story – the first time we gave her one, she carried it around the house like a treasure before finally munching on it. Now they’re also part of our training routine, a great incentive indeed.

I read somewhere that they use real meat in their products which I think is fantastic considering some brands filler material. Price-wise, it might be tad high compared to other brands but if I take into account the quality of ingredients and my dog’s evident enjoyment – worth every penny.

Anyone else’s dog acts like they’ve won the lottery when they get these treats? Just curious…

I can vouch for the popularity of Blue Buffalo treats in our household too! My Boxer, Bruno, practically does backflips whenever he sees me reaching for the bag. In terms of size, they’re just perfect – not so big that they’re a meal substitute but substantial enough to keep Bruno engaged. The price might seem a tad steep compared to other products on the market, but I’ve found that the quality and natural ingredients make it worthwhile. One thing I’d suggest to first-time users though is to gradually introduce these treats into their dog’s diet. Changes in diet can cause some stomach upset for a little while. Of course, if you notice anything out of the ordinary, consulting your vet would be the safest option. Has anyone come across any occasional availability issues or are these treats always easy to find in your area?

Has anyone tried the grain-free version of Blue Buffalo treats? My two Terriers, Jack and Daisy, are absolute treat monsters and I’ve been contemplating switching to a grain-free diet for them. Having owned dogs for 17 years now, I find that smaller pieces work better for little breeds like mine – otherwise they tend to have a go at the entire pouch in one sitting! Obviously, it’s important to balance out their diet so I don’t want to overdo on the treats. From a cost perspective, are the grain-free alternatives pricier or about the same? Feedback based on your experience would be super helpful!

I gotta say, my pug Charlie is absolutely in love with Blue Buffalo’s grain-free dog treats. He has a sensitive tummy so we always opt for the grain-free version, and they’ve been fabulous – no more upset stomachs after treats time. One key feature I appreciate is how easy they are to break apart which makes them perfect for training sessions. Charlie does anything for a “Blue bite,” as we call them at home! Has anyone else noticed their pets showing better digestion with these compared to other brands’ treats?

I’ve been feeding my gang of three – Spike, Bella, and Rusty – Blue Buffalo treats for over a year now, and they simply go bananas everytime! I generally opt for the grain-free version, as Rusty has some sensitivity issues. The treats are of great quality and are easily breakable, which makes training a breeze. However, I find them to be on the pricier side compared to similar quality products. Still, you certainly pay for what you get with these. Anyone else think the price is worth it for the sheer endearment from our furry pals?

I’ve been using Blue Buffalo’s grain-free treats for my aging Labrador, Sadie, for a while now and she can’t get enough of them! Their size is perfect for her – not too small but not overwhelmingly large either. Price-wise, while they are slightly on the higher end, I believe good quality shouldn’t be compromised. They’re decently durable too; Sadie’s an aggressive chewer and these treats tend to last her a bit longer than other brands we’ve tried before. Has anybody else noticed this with their fur buddies? I’d be interested to hear your stories. Just remember, as exciting as discovering new treats can be, always consult a vet before introducing anything drastically new into your pup’s diet!

I’m thrilled to hear all your paws-itive reviews regarding Blue Buffalo’s dog treats! My Goldendoodle, Ginger, adores these treats as well. Anyone noticed a significant change in their dog’s weight? Ginger has always been on the heavier side, and I’ve been reducing her caloric intake without compromising her love for treats. Just curious if any other pet parents out there encountered changes in their dogs’ weight?

I’m glad so many of you have had a good experience with Blue Buffalo’s grain-free treats. My Boston Terrier, Sam, loves them too! But I’ve got a question about the size of these treats. Have any of you noticed if they’ve gotten smaller in recent batches? Not that Sam has been fussing, it’s just that I remember them being larger last year.

On a side note, anyone here use these treats for training purposes? They seem to work wonders for Sam’s focus during obedience drills. Awe-inspiring how he’d do anything for that scrumptious salmon flavor! Would love to hear your experiences too.

I totally get why many of you folks are digging the Blue Buffalo treats. I gave it a shot with my husky, Koda, but found that they were a bit too big for his liking. So, I switched to Zuke’s Mini Naturals Dog Treats and he absolutely loves them! More bite-sized and easy for him to digest. In terms of cost, they are pretty comparable to Blue Buffalo. Anyone else have pups who prefer smaller sized treats?

I’ve tried Blue Buffalo treats with my Border Collie, Albie, and let me tell you, they were an instant hit! Albie is known to be a bit picky when it comes to dog treats, but he was all over these from the moment I opened the bag. The treats are nice and small too, which is perfect for training sessions or just as a little reward for being a good boy. They do come at a higher price point compared to some other brands, but seeing Albie eagerly anticipating his treat makes it all worth it in my opinion. Just remember that even though they’re grain-free, these are still treats and should only make up a small part of your fur baby’s diet! If anyone has any favorite flavors they recommend, I’d love to hear about them.
