However, I’m considering getting another for the living room but kinda on the fence about it because of the price tag. Anyone else find these beds a bit on the expensive side? What are your strategies for making sure that you’re getting your money’s worth? Thanks!

The cover is soo easy to whip off and chuck in washing machine too which saves us loads fo time. Plus Max seems really comfty on it, he’s always curled up snoozing away so that tells me he approves as well! Think if you’re considering getting another, it’ll probably be worth the investment. Maybe get it during a sale though so it doesn’t hit your wallet too hard? Just a thought 🙂 How old is your pup by the way?

I recently bought a second one just for our back porch. It took a little while for him to warm up to having it outside but now he’s all over it, might be worth thinking about if your pooch likes lounging outside like mine does. Have you thought about where you’d put the extra bed in the living room? Sometimes a new view or quiet corner can make all the difference.

But hey if it works don’t fix it right? If your canine pal is loving the first one this much then the second one should be no different really… Unless they’re as fussy as cats haha! Is there another reason why you’re unsure about getting another L.L.Bean bed? Let’s hear it mate!

The best prt? The cover is removable and machine washable; barney loves to roll in the dirt and bring it all to bed with him, so this feature was a total game-changer for us. Although someone mentioned earlier that they don’t love that these beds aren’t so stylish, I think the rugged look fits just fine in our home. But hey, to each their own, right?

Gotta say tho, the washable cover has been an absolute lifesaver – they weren’t joking about it being easy to take off annd clean. No hint of that musty wet dog smell either which is usually tatooed on every other dog bed we’ve had before.

Ever thought of getting an extra cover while the first one’s in the wash? It’s really helpful during muddy seasons, trust me! Anyone else do that or just me? 🤔

Anybody tried any other L.L. Bean pet products worth looking into?

Yes, L.L.Bean dog beds are decent for sure, no questions about that – durable, comfy and look great. But they may not always fit a pup’s specific needs. Sometimes, depending on the size/breed/age of your furry friend, you might need to look into other options too.

For instance, my old golden retriever prefers elevated bed because she has arthritis and it’s easier for her to step on/off the bed that way – L.L.Bean didn’t have what we needed in that area. After some hunting around we got a Coolaroo Elevated Pet Bed and it’s worked wonders for her.

So while L.L. Bean pet products are solid in general, it’s also worth considering alternatives according to you dog’s unique requirements. Anyone else got any breed-specific bed recommendations?

One thing you should really appreciate about L.L. Bean is their warranty. Few months in, we noticed a slight tear in one of the corners (more from Max’s excessive chewing than any fault on the product). I wasn’t expecting much, but they immediately sent us a replacement- no questions asked!

I feel like these may run a bit pricer than your average dog bed, but trust me the style, comfort and durability make it well worth it.

Question though – anyone else notice that this beig color gets grubby quickly? Is there any trick to cleaning it conveniently?
