MemberThat said, I’d wish they had more color variety- after two years, even when washed regularly, the white interior shows some discoloration. Also, it’s not exactly budget-friendly if you’re trying to save a few bucks.
Still, might be worth considering if your pup needs extra support or comfort. Anyone else got advice on maintaining the foam insert without ruining it? It seems mine is getting lumpy despite following the care instructions…

MemberPro tip: If you’re worried about preserving the color, but still wanna keep it fresh for your pup, I’ve found draping a colorful blanket or towel over it doesn’t jsut change up the look every now annd then; it adds an extra layer that’s easy to wash-off too! How about considering that?

MemberHere’s my pro tip… chuck it into the wash inside out to help preserve the color. Might not solve the problem entirely but could certainly help slow down that fading process!
Anyone else find thier dog chews on their Pendleton? Rusty doesn’t usually chew on beds but he got into a gnawing phase with this one at some point, lol! Any tips on dealing with that?

MemberI’ve also heard good things about the ‘Furhaven Pet – Plush Ergonomic Orthopedic Foam Mattress’ , especially for older dogs who need that extra support. Anyone else tried that one?

MemberJust remember every dog has its own preferences like we do. Maybe try your pup on different beds at your friends’ places to see what kind of stuff they prefer? It could save you a fair bit of trial and error (and money!). Anyone else done this before?

MemberI will say though, while Pendleton beds are stylish annd durable, they might not be the most comfortable for dogs with arthritis or joint issues. That Furhaven Orthopedic Foam mattress you mentioned could be a better option in those cases. Anyone tried both and noticed if their fur babies had a preference?

MemberBottom line: Pendleton=style+strength, Furhaven=cozy+value. Choose depending on what ticks your boxes. Oh annd totally agreed with what someone said about dogs havign preferences, lol who knew right? You’d do well to keep that in mind too! Happy shopping!🐕🦺💖

MemberAnyway, do you guys squash the bed back down after your dog decides to become an interior decorator or would that just be popping their artistic bubble?
