Been feeding my golden retriever Max Purina Pro Plan for about a year now annd let me tell ya, he’s absolutely smitten with the stuff. This kibble definitely seems to have all the nutrients that keep him healthy and his coat looking fantastic. Even more exciting, his veterinarian gives it a thumbs up too! Noticed some bags can be a tad inconsistent in quality, but customer service was super helpful when I had a concern. Overall, I’d say Purina is worth considering for your fur babies. Let’s give our four-legged pals the best, right? Good luck on your doggie diet quest! 🐾🐶

Do remember though, every dog’s dietary needs can vary quite a bit depending on their age, breed, and health status. So although Toby loves Purina Pro Plan, it doesn’t necessarily mean that it’ll work just as great for all dogs out there.

However, on the whole, I appreciate how Purina offers a good variety of recipes and formulas to choose from – especially those to accommodate specific dietary needs. Just make sure you read the ingredient list carefully; certain fillers or allergens might not sit well with your furry friend.

All said and done, Toby and I are pretty happy customers so far!

So, I’ve been feeding my fur buddy, Buster, some Purina for a couple of months now. I gotta say, it was a bit of a switcheroo from his previous brand (we were doing the high-end Blue Buffalo thing), but finances being what they are, you have to make some changes, yeah?

annd guess what? Buster loves it! He’s chowing down as soon as the bowl hits the floor and this boy is picky. Not sure who trained whom in that department (haha). His coat’s looking shinier than ever and believe me when I tell ya, his energy levels are through the roof.

Of course, I checked with his vet before making the change (gotta make sure our pooches get all the nutrients they need, right?), and she gave it two paws up! Plus, no stomach issues or any adverse reaction so far which was my biggest concern.

You know how dogs can be, eating grass one minute then barfing on your brand-new carpet the next. Wingin’ it is a dog-owner lifestyle.

Overall though, big thumbs up to Purina from both myself and The Buster-man! Now, we can take that extra cash each month and put it towards something really important—like new squeaky toys!

P.S. Let me know if any of you tried other budget-friendly but good for health pet food options. Always open for recommendations!

Sam’s coat is shinier than ever and he has a lot more energy compared to before we switched. He hasn’t had any digestive issues either, which was always my biggest concern with trying out new foods. And boy does he love chow down time now, he’ll often finish it all up in no time!

Although it’s a tad pricier than other brands, considering the improvement in Sammy’s overall health, it’s been worth every penny. I’d definitely recommend giving it a try.

Remember every dog is unique! So what works for Sam might not work for every pup out there. It’s always worthwhile to consult with your vet first about large dietary changes.

Good luck finding what works best for your fur kiddo! 🐾

However, vets have always told me to be wary of “meat by-product” in ingredients list. Not like it’s poison or anything, but simply because the quality isn’t guaranteed. So, if we’re talking nutrition, there might be better quality foods out there.

The price point is attractive though, and so far, no bad side effects at all! For limited budgets, this one is quite decent if you ask me.

Relatively speaking though, it wouldn’t hurt to toss in some home-cooked meals every now and again. We do chicken and veggies blend once a week – vet-approved recipe and my dog absolutely loves it!

You know your dog best though. If they’re healthy and happy with Purina, don’t fix what ain’t broke! 🙂
